I have daydreamed about holding Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana for months & months.And.Now.It's right here! Right here next to my laptop while I'm writing this!

Revlon recently launched the much-awaited Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamels in India. One look at the cute little perfume flacon bottles with round ball caps, and you might just want to grab all of them!

The fragrances are revealed when the nail polishes dry. Not just one scent, coz they are categorized into 3 types of scents - Fruits & Florals, Sweets & Spices, and Freshes. I picked up 4 shades to try out.....

MAC The Simpsons Collection Photos & Swatches

I'll admit, I'm not much of a Simpsons fan. I found them cute and all, but I never really watched the series. Then I met someone who's hooked to the show - my Mr.CZ. Boy, is he obsessed! Yes, all the DVDs & figurines in the photos are his. I remember he'd start laughing, and tell me about something funny Homer did/said ("Mmm....bacon.")

Even though I would never skip this collection, I'd say he wanted me have it more than I did. So, in a way, they're for him. Which is weird to say because we are not talking to each other right now.... haha! ;p

Anyways, I'll dedicate this post to him.....and all you other Simpsons fans! Hope you'll like the fun pictures, I really enjoyed clicking them. Cartoon makeup collections are so FUN!  =D

We MAC-holics here are tired of seeing 'SOLD OUT' on LE products most of the time - even on the launch day! Some have come to think that maybe....maybe....they only bring the display of Limited Edition Collections to India just for advertisement. I can't say for sure, coz I haven't been here for some time. Let's see what happens with this collection, shall we? =)

Clinique Cheek Pop Blushers Now In India!

I'd been waiting for these a looong time!

Gone to Clinique specially several times since March to ask if they'd been launched.

Always the same reply ~ "Not until August."

Last week, they were finally at the Select City Walk Mall store.

But only the first 2 shades at the top ~ Berry Pop & Plum Pop.

Bottom 2 shades, Peach Pop & Ginger Pop, hadn't arrived yet. SA said they'll also be launched soon.

 I didn't pick up any, coz there were no testers!

But I will definitely get one when I've tested them all.

Most times, you go to MAC specially to check out a collection - All the products you want are SOLD OUT!

Sometimes, you walk into MAC without a purpose - You are greeted by a brand new collection you didn't even know had launched, and most products haven't sold out yet!

I fall in the latter category this time. I wasn't going ga-ga over this collection when it came out, and didn't have a wishlist. But when I ran my fingers over the water droplets....well....

Finally a go-to drugstore brand is producing a big palette! I know, trios & quads are so meh.

It will be priced at $11.99 (around Rs.700) in the US.

I hope Maybelline India is listening, and will also bring it to India this year! Before Diwali, pweeease! =)

MAC Maleficent Collection India Launch Date

Great Discoveries From Deborah Milano ~ Haul & Swatches

Hi, everyone! Hope you're all doing well. I went to Lifestyle yesterday, and after rounding almost every makeup counter, I ended up in Deborah Milano and I didn't want to move on to another counter....or come back home, for that matter. I was so impressed with the unique products they have launched! In my fantasy land, I walked flew out of the store (glitter wings & tiara, of course!) with more than 10 products. But in my real land, I walked out (like a duck in my ballet flats) with 3.....

NEW! The Body Shop Blueberry Range

Made from cold-pressed blueberry seed oil, and Community Fair Trade Shea butter and cocoa butter from Ghana, the range is rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids that nourish and hydrate your skin, while softening, protecting and smoothing it.

Catrice Cosmetics In India! Haul

You may have noticed that I'm not so adventurous when it comes to drugstore brands. I mean, the time I was in the UK, when I went to Boots & Superdrug, what did my hauls consist of? Bourjois, Revlon, Maybelline, L'Oreal, Rimmel..... same old, same old. So when I buy more than one product from a new brand, it means I like it.... A LOT!

Yesterday evening, when we were grocery shopping at our local supermarket, I spotted Catrice in one corner of the store, and I didn't want to leave the store anymore! I wanted to buy soooo many things! I was not offended by the prices....oh, and all products have witty shade names!

About Catrice Cosmetics: It's a European brand, that's only sold in some parts of Europe. They're known for good budget-friendly beauty products. If I'm not wrong, it's by the same company behind Essence Cosmetics. That's all I know for now.

Here's what I picked up:

Catrice Made To Stay Long-Lasting Eyeshadow in 070 Mauvie Star ~  It's a shimmery blend of mauve-taupe, quite similar to MAC Frozen Violet Pro Longwear Paintpot. There are about 6-8 gorgeous shades, and it was tough to pick just one. Price: Rs.420.

Catrice Multi Colour Blush in Strawberry Frappucino ~ So Pretty! I've only swatched the tester of this, and it's nice. I wanted a dupe for MAC Cream Soda Blush (Archie's Girls Collection), and I think the 3rd shade in this is quite similar. There's another Brown/Nude kind of shade called Iced Caramel Macchiato that I also liked, and will pick up next time. Price: Rs.480.

Catrice Eyebrow Stylist in 020 Date With Ash-ton ~ An ash brown. I've already worn it, and I think it's gonna be my go-to eyebrow product from now on. Also available in other darker shades. Price: Rs.300

Catrice Welcome To Las Vegas Lashes ~ These are from a Limited Edition Collection called 'Welcome To Las Vegas'. Price: Rs.340.
