I have daydreamed about holding Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana for months & months.And.Now.It's right here! Right here next to my laptop while I'm writing this!

New PINK Blogging Camera | Hello Kitty Box | Minnie Mouse Socks

15th Nov '13, Friday:

Sometime in November '13, I spotted this camera in one of Shifa's (Get Gawjus) Instagram photos. In that moment, my life changed. By that, I mean I went CRAZY! You know I love them PINKS. It was like I was meant to see it, coz I'd been thinking about a new camera.

After googling, I found out it's a Special Limited Edition that launched in late 2012. It was sold only by a few sellers online, and they either seemed dodgy or money-hungry. Oh, and one Ebay UK seller stated that it's only "Virtually Used", whatever that means. I wanted Brand New!

16th Nov '13, Saturday:

After hours of googling.... 

Mr.CZ: 'It's okay. You have to let it go now. When it's not available anymore, what can you do?'

Me: 'No. I WILL get it. I don't give up easily on something I really want.', I said patiently & confidently like some kind of tycoon, but in my head: I was lying on the living room floor, pulling my hair, and crying 'Whyyy?!!! Ahhh!!!'

A few hours later that same Saturday evening, I found a seller! Awesome price, brand new + I get 1 extra lens. Pure, unadulterated happiness. Husband was relieved too, I think. ('Okay, now she will stop whining about it, and stop making that wretched face.')

19th Nov, Tuesday:

It was delivered! 3 days after ordering. Now you'd think it's a happy ending. Well, not yet. I had to wait for almost 2 months to see it! It was delivered to Delhi, and I was still in Scotland. Brother-in-law sent a pic of the sealed pink box, and I just had to look at it and count the days.....

18th Jan '14:

 I un-boxed it, and it was just like I imagined. Pretty. Pink. Perfect.

Bourjois Glamour Fantasy Perfume Photos

We landed in Indira Gandhi International Airport. Only one thing was on my mind. Something luxury I saw in Amsterdam, but was too expensive. I assumed I'll see the same in India duty-free and it'll be less expensive, and I'll be happy.... and everything will be right with the world again. After standing like a robot in migration, I headed straight to duty-free. Something luxury wasn't available, sadly. Instead, I spotted something I'd blogged about before (here) and had almost forgotten about ~ Bourjois Perfumes. Was disappointed that there were no testers, and I couldn't have a look at what the bottles looked like, but I knew if I didn't buy it then, I may not get my hands on it, coz who knows if they'll launch it in the stores here. Also, there were only 2 types available out of the 4 that were introduced - this & the purple one called Glamour Excessive. I picked this, Glamour Fantasy.

 

About: This fruity fragrance opens with a gourmet of cherry and raspberry macaroon. In the heart, sweet strawberry & jasmine in a wonderful floral bouquet. In the end, an intense and heady patchouli.

 

Etude House XOXO Minnie Collection Photos

Finally I took Etude House XOXO Minnie Collection out of the box! Although I look at them almost everyday since they arrived. Mr.CZ complained several times about the box always being on the dining table, and I gave the same reply: "Because I have to click!" I think he had been waiting for this post....hehe.

I have not used most of the products, except for two of them. I can't bring myself to using the other 5, coz I like them looking all new and shiny. I'll play the "collector" card again this time. No swatches, but hope you'll also like just looking at them =D

Online Haul ~ Kawaii Makeup & La Roche-Posay Skin Care Products

For those who don't know, Kawaii means cute/pretty/adorable. The term is popular in Japanese culture. I love everything kawaii. It's the only reason I want to go to South Korea someday. If I ever create a beauty brand, it will be kawaii-ish. If! I said if.

I did a little online haul recently, and the packages just reached me. You know, our postman sometimes leaves our parcels under the doormat outside our front door. Very thoughtful of him.

• Tony Moly Cat Chu Wink Lip Stick ~ Lipstick in a black cat. Super cute! I will post pics & swatches. I want a lipstick in a bunny too now!

•  Etude House Portable Ribbon Brush ~ Oh my bows! How cute?! But do you notice that it's lopsided? I'm talking to the seller about it, and I'm hoping for a replacement.

On to the La Roche-Posay skin care products. Yes, I'm so into this brand at the moment =) 

• La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo ~ My 2nd tube. I didn't use it for a week or so (because my first tube finished before I purchased another), and I immediately got 3-4 pimples. • La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water for Sensitive Skin ~ Soothes & softens sensitive skin. I just got this mainly because I wanted the bill to reach the amount that equals free shipping, but I hope it'll hydrate my skin and act as a setting spray when I'm using the other two. Price: £2.33 | Rs.218.

Fudge Nude Nails ~ Ciaté Pocket Money

On my nails this week is Ciaté Paint Pots Pocket Money, a fudge nude shade. Here, I'm wearing Bourjois So Laque Top Coat on top.

Bows & Hangers

Just something I did today - after vacuuming the house =)

Ribbons are from a throw and cushions I got from Primark (the green ones in the pics). You know the ribbons that tie them up? Ya, those. I didn't want to throw them away. How can anybody throw away ribbons? Hangers are also from Primark too, btw.

Forever 21 Key Necklace And Bow Earrings

Today's my last day in my hometown. I decided to make a quick post while I get my room cleaned and before I go to a new shoe store everyone's been talking about ;)

I went to Forever 21 in Delhi last week, and after experiencing Primark, everything seemed too expensive for what they were over there. So I basically liked only these two pieces of shiny.

Bow Earrings ~ Rs.249

Key Necklace ~ I forgot, but I think it's also for Rs.249.

Lacy thing is a pink knit top with long lace sleeves, which I got impulsively and want to exchange, but I don't think I'll be able to go back to the store =\

Escada Cherry In The Air Perfume ~ Marshmallow & Bow

 

That bow is a ring/bague adorned with a white button with cherries on top & ESCADA is printed on the stretchable band. I like that the button is stitched (not glued) on the bow. This has to be one of the prettiest perfume bottles...so dainty.

If you want proof that time go by too quickly: I unboxed these on 31st October last year, and now I'm posting photos! I sternly told myself:

First of all, what a long name! 'Dear My Blooming Lips-talk'. It doesn't even make sense! Well, unless it's a short cryptic love note:

Why do I write these things?! On to the lippies.....

Finish ~ Creamy & doesn't sit well on the lips. I'd say only a little bit less creamy than YSL Rouge Volupte Lipsticks, which I'm not a fan of.

The Good ~ Packaging |  Design  |  Inexpensive for how adorable the packaging is  | Has a mild grapefruit (I think) scent  | You get a lipstick & bow ring, coz those bows can be taken out! Although they're too big for my fingers.

The Bad ~ The texture emphasizes lines & locking lips makes it look patchy  |  Lip swatches below were done on chapped lips, and they didn't look good  |  Weak staying power  | Available only online- for most of us.
