Makeup Of The Day | Selfie

"How to click a selfie when you have double chin & crazy eyes."

Just kidding! ;p

I don't always do my makeup full monty anymore, but after seeing so many bridal pics that are flooding social media this time of year, I was inspired to do a plummy fall-appropriate look.

I especially like how well the base photographed. It's the 1st time I mixed these 2 foundations.

Face:

Smashbox Photofinish Primer Water. Shown here.
MAC Face & Body Foundation in C2 (just a thin layer)
Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation in Medium 52 (a tiny amount)
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in #20 Sand (mostly under eyes)
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Warm Medium 3 for spots.
Inglot Translucent Loose Powder in #210

Cheeks:

Maybelline Master Flush Creator in Next To Nude. Photos & Swatches here

MAC MSF Soft & Gentle to highlight, which shows more on my cupid's bow.

Eyes:

MAC Pro Longwear Paintpot in Layin' Low as base. Shown here
Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette - I used Bordeaux on outer half
NYX Roll-On Shimmer in Almond on inner half of lids.
Kiss Me Heroine Make False Lashes. Also worn here

Brows:

MAC Veluxe  Brow Liner in Strawberry Blonde.
Inglot Brow Shaping Pencil in #63 . Shown here

Lips

Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Girl Gang. Shown here.
(It is a nice bold shade and all, but I have to say the formula is not the best compared to other liquid lipsticks. It gets patchy easily during application and doesn't feel comfortable. I prefer Deborah Milano, Stila & NYX Lip Lingerie over this.)

If you are wondering why I'm not looking at you and showing my full eye makeup,
well.... one of my eyelashes had popped out at the inner corner on one eye (I just gave up on it!), and you girls who wear falsies understand this annoying problem very well =D
Also, I have run out of good eyelash glue -  I mean Eylure.

That and my crappy selfie-clicking skills!
I hate clicking selfies, because no matter how cute I think I look in the mirror, I always look 10x less cute on my phone camera....haha! ;p

Happy Friday, Everyone!

I'm so J of you all who are off to Black Friday sales! =)

NEW! Maybelline Master Flush Creator

I was a bit skeptical about these when I bought them without sampling first, as there were no testers. They hadn't even hit the shelves yet, I saw a box of newly-launched Maybelline products on the floor at New U.... and I sat on my ankles....and then nobody could stop me!!!

Do they look familiar?

MAC Blush Ombre!

About Maybelline Master Flush Creator

A two-tone blush for a gradation flushed look. Pick up color in one swipe, fit brush to cheek curve and apply gradation color in one stroke.

There are 4 shades, and I picked up 2:

Next To Nude ~ My favorite! It's like having my most favorite MAC Cream Soda (Archies Girl Collection) & Benefit Coralista in one pan.

Tickled Pink ~ This pink is like a combination of MAC Pink SwoonNARS Angelika.

MAC Blush Ombre Ripe Peach (a cult favorite) & Kindergarten Red

Gosh! I am seeing how similar they look only now at this moment! I wanted to compare the textures and feel of the powders, but I don't know where these are atm. You can have a look at them  with the MAC Toledo Collection HERE

Gingham Pants & Favorite Sunglasses {OOTD}

I took these pants into the trial room with me, fully prepared to see they'd look totally hideous on me - like most woven & non-stretchy pants. You don't know how many cute floral woven pants I've had to walk away from, because they just never sit well - there's always a disagreement between the waist, thigh, crotch & behind areas. I'd always try 25 & 26 - and I mean 3-5 times each. By the time I left the trial rooms, I used to feel like fainting!

But these! The specs are just perfect + the flare & slits at the bottom make them heels-friendly, and the zipper & bow at the waist!
Next summer, I'm buying floral fabric & taking it to a tailor along with these pants. Cut & make egg-jackly like them, I'll tell him.

Can Your BELLY BUTTON Really Improve Your Skin, Etc?

Mistake: *Alcohol & Brandy soaked in cotton* >.<

I came across a few articles about the Belly Button recently, and I had to share with you all.

I'd only known about Mustard Oil for chapped lips before, and I feel like I'd been living under a rock that I hadn't heard about the rest of them:

Chapped Lips: Put a few drops of Mustard Oil before going to bed. (This works!)

Glowing Skin: Put a few drops of Almond Oil.

Pigmentation: Apply Lemon Oil.

Acne: Put a dew drops of Neem Oil.

Cold, Flu & Running Nose: Dip a piece cotton in Alcohol, and place it on your belly button.

Improve Fertility: Put drops of Coconut or Olive Oil.

Menstrual Cramps: Dip a piece of cotton in Brandy, and place it on your belly button.

Remember I'm only sharing. It's totally up to you whether you believe it or not.

Me, I'm buying Lemon Oil & Almond Oil, and I'll definitely try the alcohol for flu one when necessary.

P.S: In one of the comments or post, one lady asked:
"What oil can I use to remove my husband?"
 =D
