How To Reduce Hair Loss In 1 MONTH

S-I-L: "Your hair looks thicker now. What did you do?"

Me: "REALLY?!"

She saw me in January '19 last, and said the above words in Feb '19. That's why I wrote "In 1 Month" in the title, it's not clickbait! 😄

****

1. I CHANGED MY SHAMPOO & oiled my hair. I was always using L'Oreal Vitamino Shampoo. I mix 2 shampoos together - an Aloe Vera & Bringha shampoos. I even left the Indulekha Bringha Hair Oil overnight.

****

2. I ask for Olaplex when I get my hair colored. They strengthen the hair bonds during chemical treatments. I've been meaning to the Olaplex No.3 to use at home.

****

3. I stopped using Dry Shampoo so much. I read that over-drying of the scalp & oil-absorbing build-up irritates the hair follicles, which ultimately leads to hair shedding. Makes sense to me, especially when I'm losing hair mostly on my crown/top areas. If I have to use one, I now use the Innisfree Don't Worry No Sebum Dry Shampoo, which leaves no white residue & doesn't feel heavy.

****

4. This is IMPORTANT if you live somewhere where there's hard water. I installed a water softener in the shower. I've realized for the longest time that it's the water in Gurgaon that's a major cause of my excessive hair loss, because after every hair wash, I see an unnatural amount of hair in the drain. After only 1 week of installing this...umm... invention, I could literally feel the weight of my hair again. It's made to reduces chlorine, limescale & other impurities in water. Now we have this installed on the tap, as well.
Got it from Amazon India HERE
*If you're getting this, please read the instructions properly. Apparently, you have to flip the filter inside every 45 days, which I missed reading.

****

5. Lastly, I stopped drinking WHITE WINE. After a bit of research, I found out white wine causes hair loss in several cases. I've stopped drinking alcohol altogether, but if I'm in the mood once in a while, I stick with beer or red wine.
🍷

Many of you have been telling me to post this for a while, so I apologize for the delay.
Hope it was helpful, if only to an extent.

I'm trying some new hair products, like a Hibiscus Shampoo, etc. More natural/organic stuff, without SLS & Parabens.

Will post an update in June.

Best Things I Bought Lately

By "best", I just mean money well spent. Because they're pretty.... and girly....
and they simply bring a sort of..... custom-made joy to my life =D

H&M Vintage Pink Faux Fur Jacket: From the kids' section, for 8-10 yrs old! ;p
One size up would've been more my size, but that was no longer available.
I was shopping with my Mom at H&M, basically I needed some jumpers for Zii. We went our separate ways at the store. I spotted these pink faux fur coats that don't look like they're for kids in one corner. My Mom found me while I was trying them on in front of a mirror at the back of the store, and she was like, "All this time I thought you were shopping for your child, but here you are. You are not only a shopaholic, you are a holic.". I tried one similar coat from the Women's section, in a Size 6, just to compare, but it didn't sit as well as this one on my petite frame + the sleeves were too long. Now I know where to go for coats from now on...hehe!
(You can have a better look at it here)

La Senza Bralette ~ I have a thing for bralettes, if you haven't noticed it yet, and I was psyched to find a pink lacy one. Most of the lacy ones I see are always black. I find bralettes without any straps and hooks more comfortable to wear under body-hugging sweaters and winter clothes (Actually, I hate bra straps altogether!) This comes with matching knickers.

Herbal Essences Ignite My Colour Dry Shampoo ~  It doesn't leave any white powdery residue & it  smells like roses + adds some volume. I found this at a chemist shop for Rs.760.

It's Skin Caviar Double Effect Serum ~ Product of the week! I was hooked from the first time I used it. Price: Rs.2300

The Life Changing Magic Of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo: I spoke about this book in this post, and I finally got it. I've yet to finish reading the whole book, and I want to do a proper review to let you guys know if it really is life-changing. But I learnt one very useful tip: To fold your clothes vertically, so everything is laid out for you, and you don't have to dig for anything. Wait, I will come back and talk more about this in another post.

ZARA Sock-Style Over The Knee Boots ~  It's hard to find OTK boots in India, and next to impossible if your feet are tiny. When I saw some on Zara website, I ordered 2 pairs. Both Size UK 2. I posted a short video of me unboxing this pair (etc) on Instagram. In case you're not on social media, I'll attach it here.....

My TOP 17 Beauty Products 2017

HAPPY NEW YEAR, Everyone! =)

It took me a while to get into blogging mode, and after having trouble trying to decide which was gonna be my 1st post of the year, I'm going with the kind I personally like to have a look at on other blogs.....

Here are my TOP 17 Beauty Products of 2017. Stuff that I'll still be using this year.....

 ~ Makeup ~

1. MAC Face and Body Foundation: Pure Love for it! If you have never found a lightweight sheer coverage foundation that somehow blurs out your spots and makes your skin look more healthy, this is it. My shade is C2.
(Price: Rs.2500)

2. Smashbox Photofinish Primer Water: You know a primer is good when your makeup is recyclable the next day *insert see-no-evil monkey emoji here*. It was the holidays & freezing cold! I didn't want to love this, because it's expensive, but when my base looks more flawless with it....
(Price: Rs.2900)

3. L'Oreal Infallible Silkissime Eye Liner: The only black kohl I used all year. It's very black & super soft & long-lasting.
(Price: 575)

4. L'Oreal Le Matte Lip Pen 102 She's So Matte: This was my most favorite lipstick in 2017. It's very comfortable & just that kind of wearable pinky-nude. For more photos, please go here.
(Price: 750)

5. Deborah Milano Fluid Velvet Mat Lipstick 01 Antique Rose: My most used liquid lipstick last year, more often as a base under She's So Matte up there.
(Price: Rs.850)

6. Maybelline The Falsies Waterproof Mascara: I bought 3 of these in 2017 alone, and I can say it's the best Maybelline Mascara for thin lashes.
(Price: 550)

Confessions From A Beauty Salon

"Spread your legs.", she said, and we both burst out laughing.
She, amused.
Me, red-faced.
Though it's not my first time.

******

Okay, we'll get to that later in the blog post.

I have been meaning to do this post for quite some time, just because I feel like not many people
talk about salon services in detail. Most of the time, I never get a satisfying review
or information on certain services/products that I'm curious about.

So, I'm just gonna ramble about the things I've gotten done on myself, just to put it out there.
I say ramble, because this is a very hotchpotch blog post. Most of the photos are old. I had to search for them in my emails and computer, because I always had to clear out my phone's storage space (damn iphone!)

Anyway.....

One Word: Rica

I can't get enough of their White Chocolate Wax!
Ever since I started choosing this over the regular wax, my hair has been growing at a much slower pace, become softer, and my underarm hair have definitely lessened.

This is the Rica Aloe Vera one, which I prefer lately,
coz my legs are very easily agitated these days.

***ALWAYS TELL THE BEAUTY THERAPIST NOT TO MAKE THE WAX TOO HOT BEFOREHAND.***
Doesn't matter how reputed the salon is or how experienced the person waxing your body/facial hair is. If the wax feels too hot, it is too hot and it will burn your skin....and like in one of my underarm waxing sesh, it will peel the skin off! (Which healed, thankfully!)

Price: Rs.1799 for full body. Depends on the salon.

How Many Beauty Products Do I Use In A Day?

Before you read this post, I'd like to tell you 5 things about my younger self:

1. One time, when I was a teenager, I had only Rs.150 in my pocket. I needed to spend it, of course. I bought a big heavy bottle of Peach Hair Conditioner. I think it was Herbal Essences, but I'm not sure. Now that was a time when we only used hair products that came in those 2-rupee sachets, so it was a big deal. I gave up Lassi & Puri Sabji at a popular joint for it. I went home (super hungry), and used it before attending a wedding. The tailor didn't stitch my dress that well and my shoes hurt like hell, but "I just used a pricey fancy conditioner....woohooo!!!"

2. (I've told this story before) When I was younger than, or about, 10 years old, my nanny gave me 5 rupees to buy my Mom a birthday present. I bought her a tiny lipstick. A green one. The kind that turns pink once applied.  She didn't use it at all, but that thrill of buying a lipstick? I remember. To this day, I remember the little local shop with charcoal-stained & broken wooden walls, it was hot, you couldn't enter the shop, you could only point at what you want, I remember standing on tip toes to talk to the shopkeeper & then running home super duper excited, I remember.

3. I always looked forward to Sunday's Graphiti Magazine. Flipped it back to front, because first things first - The Beauty Tips section. Yes, I tried most, if not all, of them.

4. I used to love walnuts, I saved the shells, because I thought they looked too good to throw away. I didn't know what to do with them, but I had a feeling they were.... special. This was before my teens, so I knew nothing about walnut scrubs. Imagine older me finding 2 big packets of empty walnut shells on top of my textbooks in a cabinet!

5. Long before I could use makeup, meaning: school days, I applied Vaseline on my lashes to thicken & curl them. I'd pinch some lashes together - back then, just because. Beauty Hack right there.

What I wanted you to pick up from that is -

I LOVE BEAUTY PRODUCTS! I ALWAYS HAVE!

Okay! Now you are ready to read the post  ;p

March FAB BAG ~ What I Got.....

"Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself."

~ Coco Chanel.

This is my very first experience with these monthly beauty bags, even though I've always been intrigued and have been thinking about subscribing to one. If you're not familiar with them, they are basically monthly subscription beauty bags - you subscribe, and every month a customized bag of beauty products will arrive at your doorstep. It's quite cool, coz you get to try out & discover different products (sometimes sample size, sometimes FULL SIZE!), and of course, there's the element of surprise! I was very excited to unzip this month's FAB BAG. Here's what I got.....

5 The Body Shop Favorites

Many years ago, I used to play Scrabble online. Sometimes my opponents & I would end up chatting a bit while playing - Where are you from....What do you do.... general stuff. And one day when I was playing with a female opponent.....
Opponent: I work in Body Shop.

Me: Oh, I loooove Body Shop! =)

Opponent:  =)

Me: "So what are your favorite Body Shop products?"

Opponent: I meant Auto Body Shop =D

Me: Oh! LOL! =D

Awkward! We stopped chatting all through the game. I don't remember who won that game, though. But let's all assume I did ;p =D

So that's a lil' Body Shop story, and now I'll tell you about the 5 The Body Shop products that I've been loving lately.....

Makeup When You Look DRAB

You know that "Pregnancy Glow" you keep hearing about? Well, not every knocked up woman gets to wear it like a halo. Most days, I feel like a lazy kangaroo with lacklustre waist-length hair. I'm too tired to prettify myself, and I've developed a habit of doing my makeup halfway too - BB cream, powder, a bit of brown eyeshadow on the crease....okay, that's it.
On this particular day, I made an effort to brighten myself (and mood) up. I'll jot down a few mini tips, and I hope my 'baby brain' will still translate my thoughts into words that make sense.

The FLOPS! Beauty & Online Stores

So that movie Queen seems to be a super hit, huh? Saw several FB statuses about it:

 "QUEEN! Loved it!"
 "Queen was awesome!!!"

I didn't know what it was about at first. My first guess was some epic-type movie about some English queen.....or a drag queen transformation movie. It was only until "Kangana rocked in Queen!" that I realized it's a Bollywood movie. Now I can't not watch it, but only until it comes out on DVD where there'll be English subtitles.

Okay, now we talk about the very opposite of Bollywood superhits.....

The most recent FLOPS in the beauty & internet world:

Sunsilk Radiant Shine Shampoo & Conditioner, Rs.56 each

I got the 80ml bottles of both to try out. I made sure to try out 3 other types of shampoos/conditioners to be 100%  sure this is the twosome that lathered my hair to dullsville. After every wash, it felt drier, but got greasy faster. Maybe the 5 oils in it (Argan, Jojoba, Camelia, Almond & Olive) cause too much buildup. No Radiant Shine, amigo!

L'Oreal Kajal Magique, Rs.245

From the first time I used it, I knew I didn't like it, but I wanted to be sure. So, I used it everyday for over a month. Then one day, I took a break from it, and I used my other trusted black kajals/kohls. I saw how much it fell short. It's not soft enough, it's not black enough, and it doesn't last on the waterline.

Avon Mega Effects Mascara, Rs.1020 (from UK)

I tried & I tried some more to love this, but the fancy brush exhausted me! I was doing all the work. From every angle - horizontal, vertical, upside down.... and then always having to clean up after it when it leaves untidy smudges my lids. I wouldn't have minded the effort needed had the results been outstanding, but both length & volume were unimpressive on my thin lashes. Note: It might work better on longer & thicker lashes.
(Photos here)

Healthkart.com

The worst online store I've ever shopped from so far. They will send a wrong product, you inform them, they'll tell you to click a photo of the wrong product, pack it properly, hand it over to their pick-up man, delay replacement because the wrong product they sent has to be checked by QC first (What if I'd used/tampered with a random product I didn't want?!), two weeks later they'll inform you the product you actually ordered is not in stock so they won't be able to send it- without an mention of a refund. And all this drama will go on for over 3 weeks. You sent a wrong product by mistake, that's fine. Just fix it ASAP & don't make the unforgivable mistake of making the customer run after you! *I think they wouldn't have refunded the money themselves if we hadn't called them up multiple times.

ASOS

It's not a flop online store, just flop International Shipping. I ordered a pair of shoes that costs around Rs.2000, and I received an email from ASOS saying I need to pay customs fee of around Rs.700. The standard duty fee on footwear in India is 10% (I'd even pay 20%.), but they're charging 35%! What I found odd was, I should have been contacted by our local customs office about the charges when the package had been inspected, but the email came from ASOS not long after I placed the order. Which probably means they're the ones charging, not customs. Simply put, it's their courier fee. Perhaps they should remove their "Free Shipping Worldwide" slogan. I was really depending on it for New Look shoes when I left UK, so it's painful to find out I can no longer order from it....well, unless I get desperate maybe. After several angry emails, they refunded my money.

Now all these are just my personal flops, and they might work better on/for you =D

So what are your Flops this month?

New Year Makeup Haul | A New Blog In The Making!

Hello Lovelies, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope 2014 will be very very nice to all of us!  A million Thank Yous to all of you for reading my blog, and being so supportive. I couldn't have asked for better readers! ♥
We went out partying with friends last night, came home a little after 12:30 am. That's quite early, but we started at around 7:30 pm. Didn't get time to click my outfit, but I will re-wear it some day. You should have seen me run around looking for a skirt & then get ready like a hurricane! So exhausting. So much hype around NYE, then you look back and wonder why you even bothered so much.

The Last Haul in 2013:
MAC ProLongwear Blush Rosy Outlook & Paint Pot Layin' Low ~ I went to MAC in Glasgow, and picked up these two. No more MAC now until Delhi.
Sleek Makeup Blush Life's A Peach ~ I forgot I use to own Pan Tao, and was glad they're not the same.
Collection Lasting Colour Black Gel Liner ~ Comes with a tiny brush. It's creamy and pigmented so far. I had to get this yesterday, coz I'd left my Bourjois Liner Feutre Felt Liner open for a night and it dried up! >.<
Tangle Teezer Compact Styler Gold ~ A revolutionary detangling hair brush that won't tug on your hair. I LOVE! Believe the hype.
Eco Tools Sponge Applicator ~  Makeup sponge on a stick! I saw it in Boots and immediately picked it up. Yet to try it out, but I really hope I'll like it. I love the packaging with snap button. This has made me really notice Eco Tools.
Primark Egg Makeup Sponge ~ This is so cheap I had to get it.
Real Techniques Setting Brush ~ I just got this along with my LRP Effaclar Duo from Escentual last time, coz it was on sale. I like to use it to set powder in little nooks on my face, like undereyes.

Best & Worst Beauty Products 2013

We bid goodbye to 2013 tomorrow. Tomorrow! I wish I could extend it another month. Just 30 days. But nobody's listening to me. So I sit for hours making collages of things I'll take along with me to 2014, and things I've already let go of.

It was hard to pick out only some products, so I did my best to exclude a lot of the products from previous monthly favorites & disappointing beauty products posts. Let's say this list is very sorted out.

BEST Beauty Products 2013

1. Maybelline Color Show India ~ Exclusively the Indian versions, because of both the price and quality factors. They are different from UK versions. All the Indian ones are better than one UK shade I'm wearing right now. Swatches here & here.
2.  MAC Cream Soda Blush from Archie's Girls Collection ~ Blush of the year! I love it SO MUCH. Swatches here

3. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer ~ Probably the best drugstore undereye concealer. I regret not trying it sooner. Now I want to try the powder too!

4. Pond's White Beauty BB Cream ~ A pocket-friendly BB Cream that can put a lot of hi-fi ones to shame. It also works as an eyeshadow primer. Review here

5. Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick #11 Fraise Remix ~ Drugstore lippie, high-end color. Pics here

6. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush ~ I practically lived on this brush this year because it blends everything in a jiffy, it's easy to clean and dries quickly.

7. Babyliss Volume Waves Tong ~ It's like my magic wand. The only tool that can give my hair shape now that it's very long and badly needs a cut. Used here

8. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Sweetheart ~ Most-used lip crayon. Swatches here.

9. YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick ~ Madly in love with these! Hopefully, one day next year, I'll have all the shades. Swatches of #19 Fuchsia In Rage here

10. Sleek Oh So Special Eyeshadow Palette ~ This is one drugstore palette to own! It's like a summary of all the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. Swatches here

11. Max Factor 2000 Calorie Curved Brush Mascara ~ My most favorite mascara this year. I strayed from it, and realized it's unbeatable. Length, Volume, No clumps. I gotta repurchase. Shown here.

12. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Astringent/Clarifying Lotion & Effaclar Duo ~ Life-changing twosome . Holy Grail. Pimply skin saviors. Blemish-free skin.

New In ~ Skincare, Haircare, Makeup

Last night, we heard a weird siren sound. We thought it's some annoying car alarm (but less annoying than the one in HIMYM - when Lily & Robin were waiting outside the bridal store.) Then we saw red/blue lights flickering through the curtains. I looked out, and saw more than 15 people gathering outside, some men in yellow helmets, and 2 noisy fire trucks right outside the building attached to our building.......

Newly Discovered Beauty Products - Part 2

While I finish a make-up tutorial, take a look at some of the beauty products I recently stumbled upon. Most of them I'm going to try out sooner or later......

Zoya Nail Lacquer 'Cynthia' ~ Yes, you read correctly. There's a Zoya nail polish named 'Cynthia'! And it's a deep blue - my decided fall nail color! A few weeks ago, Magali tagged me on a picture of this nail polish on Zoya's Instagram page (Thanks Magali!) Price: Around Rs.1000-1100 in the UK. I don't even want to spend Rs.300 on a nail polish, so you can imagine how torn I feel about it- buy, don't buy? Couldn't I just write my name on my nails? NO! It's not the same!

MSM Cream ~ As I was doing my usual googling of acne and skin problems, I stumbled on a post that opened my eyes wide here. The writer raved about a certain MSM Cream that minimized her acne scars. MSM cream is made with Sulphur, and  is used to treat acne. Some have even called it a 'Miracle Cream'. I am ordering mine soon. Just wanted to know if any of you tried it. Price: Around Rs.1350 on Amazon UK, but it's only around Rs.500 on Ebay.

Haul: New Hair Care Products

Just wanted to quickly talk about some new hair care products that are going to be part of my hair routine this month:
  • L'Oreal Elvive Damage Care Shampoo & Conditioner for Damaged or Brittle Hair ~ They claim to 'fill in cracks' and and seal hair cuticles with Cement-Ceramide, an intense formula that contains a replica of the natural hair's ceramide Price: £4 | Rs.412 for 2.
  • VO5 Smoothly Does It Straightening Lotion ~ I got this because my straightened hair has grown out, and it's gotten wavy near the roots. Apply 8-10 pumps on towel-dried hair, blow dry & then use a straightener. Claims to last up to 3 washes! Let's see. Price: £5.99 | Rs.620. But £5 for 2 VO5 products from Sainsbury's, which is awesome! I almost got it for full price from Superdrug once, phew!
  • VO5 Treat Me Right Rinse Out Deep Conditioning Treatment ~ A deep conditioner with 5 natural oils - Avocado oil, Argan oil, Apricot oil, Grape seed oil, Jojoba oil. Very excited to try this, because I know my hair desperately needs some deep TLC.  Original Price: £4.28 | Rs.442.

9/5/13

August Favorites & 31st Night

August was not only our Blogversary month, but it's also our wedding anniversary month ~ 30th & 31st, because we had 2 ceremonies. We decided to go out and celebrate it on the the 31st, Saturday. Before I tell you a story about that night, let's take a look at my beauty favorites first:

{Yes, that's a card I got ;)}

I'll start with all the makeup (clockwise):
  • MAC Constructivist Paintpot ~ I have not used this much ever since I started using the Maybelline Color Tattoos, and sometime last month I used it once, and now I want to use it everyday. Can't go wrong with a brown paintpot. Swatched here
  • Bourjois So Laque Rose Imaginaire #62 ~ I just realized this was also in my June Favorites! Maybe I'm using it way too much. Swatches here
  • YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Pink In Paris #13 ~ I think I'm wearing this almost everyday. Swatches coming soon.
  • Lancome Rouge In Love Lipstick Midnight Rose #377N ~ Swatches here
  • Maybelline Baby Lips Hydrate ~ I've been using this every night before sleeping, and my lips love it.
  • YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Rage In Fuchsia #19 ~ Will swatch this as well.
  • Revlon Super Lustrous Pink In The Afternoon ~ Swatches here
  • Bourjois Shine Edition Lipsticks ~ I'm loving all the 3 shades I got, and I want 2 more. Photos & swatches here

IVC Testing Room: New Skin & Hair Care Products

Many have asked me to do a skin care routine, but that's hard for me to do, because I hardly stick to a specific routine. For months, I was using only La Roche Posay Effaclar, but I'm a commitment-phobe when it comes to cosmetics (sometimes relationships, too). Nowadays I'm googling skin and hair care products more than makeup. I want to discover new products and sample everything that's raved-about by at least 5 beauty bloggers. So every now & then I will do little posts to let you know what I'm using.

Vichy Normaderm Anti-Aging Anti-imperfection & Anti-wrinkle Resurfacing Care with Glycolic acid + LHA + Vitamin C ~ It claims to target pimples and wrinkles at the same time. Let's see *fingers crossed*

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution ~ Makeup remover for sensitive skin. It looks like water. Very excited to try this much-raved about product. I got the smallest bottle first to try, it's also available in bigger bottles.

Clean & Clear Morning Energy Skin Energising Daily Face Wash with Vitamin C & Ginseng ~ It's nice and gentle. Doesn't lather much.

VO5 Give Me Texture Tousled Style Spray ~ Spray on onto dry hair and lift, scrunch and twist. It does turn hair into a wavy beach style, but I don't like that it makes my hair feel crunchy. I've given it to the man.

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Strengthening Cream with Honey & Apricot Essences (For Damaged Hair) ~ I've used it only a couple times so far. It is like a moisturizer for my very dry hair tips... but I'm not sure if it's great.

TRESemmé Split Remedy Split Mend Intense Recovery Masque ~ Whenever I use this, the ends of my become more frizzy and a nightmare to comb through.

*I ordered Vichy & Bioderma products online from Escentuals.com, so I got that nail filer free.

If you want me to bring any particular skin & hair product into the  Testing Room , let me know. This is THE YEAR OF SKIN & HAIR! Hola!

India Beauty HAUL, Etc + A New Life Change.....

They didn't all fit on the window sill, so I took them to the backyard table. The biting cold forced me to scatter them haphazardly. For the first time, the wind didn't knock any of them off where they lay disorderly....and none of them fell through the gaps on the wooden planks. "Little joys.", I thought to myself. A minute later, I saw the first 10 drops of rain on the little black boxes.
These are the beauty products I brought back with me from our brief India holiday.... apart from the beauty bags I already had with me =D
Products shown in random order:

  • Heart Box, pink brush holder thing, eyeliners, etc are from Dubai

Mythic Oil products have proven to be suitable for all hair types from fine to thick; so whatever be your hair type, we have just the right answer for you! Born through the confluence of L’Oreal’s hair expertise and partnerships with leading hairstylists, this is a multi-sensorial haircare experience that brings together ancient rituals and modern technology to appeal to your senses as well as your emotions.
Inspired by the early Oriental rituals of blending oils into concoctions known as ‘Oils of life’, each Mythic Oil product reinvents this tradition just for you. The uses and benefits of the products are as follows-
Rich Oil: Rich Oil is a perfect blend of two essential oils – Rice bran oil and Argan oil. While rice bran oil is known for its intensely moisturizing and regenerative properties, argan oil is known for deeply nourishing and disciplining properties. Together they are mixed in a rich, wrapping texture, which provides rebellious tresses with deep nourishment, anti-frizz protection and makes them soft, smooth, shiny and effortlessly detangled. Rich Oil can be used as both a construction and a finishing product.
Shampoo: Mythic Oil Shampoo is an alliance of Argan oil and Cotton seed oil. The wholesome powers of cotton seed oil have been documented even in early Hindu remedy books, while argan oil has been the guarded beauty secret of European women. They come together to deeply cleanse and rejuvenate your hair. Also, the oily texture of the shampoo lends an opulent shine to your tresses and makes them look alive and radiant.
Masque: The Mythic Oil Masque, like the shampoo, is a brew of argan oil and cottonseed oil. It is to be used as a finishing product, after a nourishing wash with the shampoo, for a comprehensive cleansing experience. Its rich, creamy texture gives a new life to your hair, making it glow like never before.
Purifying Oils:
The Purifying Pre-Shampoo concentrate is a powerful alliance of three essential oils – citrus oil, cypress oil and tea tree oil. As part of the Mythic Oil back bar service, the concentrate offers you an intense and refreshing experience. It treats your scalp with a gentle soothing effect and gives your hair a new vigor.
So the next time you want to pamper yourself with a multi-sensorial, pleasure-driven haircare experience, right from salon backwash to home, ask for Mythic Oil by L’Oreal Professionnel!
