Lakmé Absolute Plump & Shine 3D Glosses Review & Swatches

I got 2 shades to try out: 

• Berryshine ~ A peach with gold shimmer. This is the most attractive out of all the shades in this range. I really love how it looks in the tube! I'd pick it over Nars Orgasm  Lip Gloss, any given day.
• Candyshine ~ Candy pink with gold & purple shimmer.

These lip glosses look so pretty & tempting in the packaging- especially Berryshine. 

Products For DIY Bridal Makeup

Hey everyone,

I know my Bridal Series is hanging in limbo. It's going to come to an abrupt end since I've got so many things to do before Christmas + I'm leaving for vacay right after that. But I want to do a couple more posts to end the series properly. Fingers crossed!

Below are the makeup products I'd use on my wedding day- if I were doing my own makeup. I'd be wearing a pink lehnga with gold embellishments, so I picked the colors accordingly:

Bridal Makeup Products On A Budget (Bridal Series 2011)

Welcome to the Bridal Series 2011! I will be doing a few posts on bridal makeup products and such....and there might be a surprise at the end of the series *wink* Now now don't get any ideas in your head, I don't even know what it is myself haha.

I told you my childhood friend got married, right? I had to buy some makeup products for her last month, but since she is not a makeup junkie, she wanted to keep it simple with just the bare necessities.

About The Bride & Wedding:

At Bourjois Event, New Launches & Haul

I told you about the Bourjois event the other day, and I did make it. It was a quick one, but I came home with new Bourjois products I have been wanting to try, so I was pretty psyched when I left.

I met Zahra, Bourjois' makeup artist, but the meeting lasted only for a few minutes because she wasn't feeling well and was jet-lagged. Hence, no photo of her.

Outfit: Sorry, couldn't click properly. It was awkward with people staring and all. I just wore a casual black & off-white bandage dress and a black quarter-sleeve silk blazer. Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Gloss Touch Of Toffee

I'm not a fan of clear lipglosses. If I want clear, I'll pick a lip balm, you know what I mean? Most of my glosses are either pink or peach, and I don't have a nude/flesh-colored lip glosses. Then along came Touch of Toffee, and I was converted. I should let other people pick makeup for me more often :)

I like that it is not the drippy or sticky kind, it's more creamy. Even though it has those shimmery particles, it doesn't feel gritty. I like that it smells like orange juice.

New! Bourjois Smile Enhancing Gloss

Another intriguing new product by Bourjois is the Smile Enhancing Gloss. It's a dual-ended tube- one side contains a shimmery gloss with "white focus" pigments that enhances the brightness of your teeth & the other contains a tooth whitening/brightening gel!

Sleek Avoir la Peche Collection Review,Swatches & LOTD (Darker Skin tone)

Here are swatches & mini reviews of the Sleek Avoir la Peche Collection + LOTD of moi in a darker skin tone.

Paraguaya i-divine palette ~ The colors are all pigmented, smooth and buttery. The least pigmented of them all is Bittersweet -second last , bottom row, grey shade. It works fine if you want to use it to blend a darker color, though. Hmm...Bittersweet. How apt.

Inglot Sleeks Cream Lip Paint Review & Swatches

Inglot Sleeks Cream Lip Paint ~ Light, non-sticky, moisturising formula with vitamin E. Paraben free.

This is my first lip gloss from Inglot. I'm not so crazy about lip glosses and recently I don't even look at them in stores. I don't even remember the last time I bought one. Even with this, I bought it mainly for  the unusual test tube packaging. Isn't it so cute?!

Benefit Posietint

Benefit Posietint has been on my wishlist since it was launched. It looked so pweety and reminds me of a nursery rhyme- "Ring a ring of Roses, A pocket full of Posies", except I used to say 'poses' instead of 'posies' as a kid, if I remember correctly. Honestly I got the nursery rhymes mixed up here and almost wrote "Rosie Posie Pudding and Pie."  Okay, I'm confused again, so let's move on....

Described as a poppy-pink, it can be used lip & cheek stain. The first thing I noticed is it's not drying at all. on my lips, although it dries to a matte finish, it doesn't make them feel parched.

It's easy to blend on my cheeks and looks very natural. The color is buildable though- the more you dot on, the more intense the color.

Elle 18 Color Bombs Review & Swatches

Elle 18 Color Bombs caused quite a stir when they were launched. It's like people went crazy or something. The press release post about the products is the most popular post in this blog and till now it still gets a lot of of hits every single day. I got comments & emails with questions and more questions from people asking:  where to buy them?, how's the quality? Some even thought I'm a manufacturer and asked: "May I know wholesale price of all the products?" and "Can you send them to France?" =D

Nivea Fruity Shine Pink Guava ~ LOVE!

Meet my latest crush, Nivea Fruity Shine Pink Guava. Oh-my-gosh, I love it so much! It is my favorite out of all the Nivea Fruity Shines I have tried. It comes in a pink guava-colored tube with a new slanted design cap. The color is suuuper gorgeous with just the right amount of pink shimmer- not too jhatak (Hindi word for 'in-your-face')

Look at that color! It is a coral pink, which is exactly pink guava (unlike The Body Shop Born Lippy Pink Guava lip balm) It smells almost like pink grapefruit.

Lilac Lips, Anyone?

This little pot brought 2 of my current favorite things - Inglot Lip paint & Lilac. Inglot Lip Paints are some of the best lip products I've ever tried, so I'm sort of collecting them little by...I mean one by one.

Ever since I got the MAC Violetta lipstick from the Venomous Villains Collection, my eyes are always drawn to the purple family. I have never worn a lilac lippy before, and this one is perfecto.

Newest lip care products in my stash- Vaseline Lip Care in Rosy Glow & Healthy White.

Vaseline Lip Care Rosy Glow (Strawberry Frost) is strawberry flavored and glossy like a lip gloss. It gives lips a soft pink tint. It has a mild cooling/menthol feel, hence the 'frost' to it's name, I guess. I thought it was going to plump up my lips too, but no.

Vaseline Lip Care Healthy White Lip (Fresh Vanilla) is a clear jelly-like balm that protects lips from UV & darkening. I like the pink tube. I can hardly smell the vanilla in it, but it is definitely not fragrance-free.

Both claim to give 24 hour+ moisturized lips.
