About:
Biotique Bio Berry Plumping Lip Balm claims to smooth & swell lips. It is organically pure & preservative free. Dermatologically tested. No Animal Testing.
Berries are one of nature's great sources of vitamins and phytochemicals. This plumping balm restores lip fullness for a voluptuous, bee-stung look and refined lip contours.
"It is not a cosmetic product. It has therapeutic properties"
Not a cosmetic product? Therapeutic? You see that, you start to think of white, brown, yellow & green stuff. But this is none of those. It's so pretty and screams 'cosmetic'.
It's the most beautiful lip balm shade. I want a dress & a cream blush in that color! Okay, we'll talk about that later. On to the lip balm:
Likes:
It does swell the lips a little bit. Not voluptuous & bee-stung, but I can feel some fullness when I use this, and the lines on my lips are noticeably less. It doesn't sting my lips like most lip plumpers. Softens & moisturizes lips. So there, it does what it claims, most importantly.
Other benefits: It gives a natural soft pink tint to the lips. If you want the most natural-looking lip tint that doesn't dry out your lips, this is it. I love the fruity jam-like smell. It would make a good plumping base for lipstick & lipgloss. The jar is deep, so there's a lot of product in there.
Dislike:
The packaging color. Please change it, Biotique! That green is just ugly, I'm sorry I can't find a kinder word. I've always been put off by Biotique coz of that packaging. I wish they'd make them in any other earthy color, or simply transparent.

Swatches: Hand & Lips |
It looks best when the shine has worn off a little bit. Lips look more kissable then.

I was never impressed with Biotique products before, but this time- a pat on its back for not lying. I recommend this lip balm if you want to mildly plump up your pout organically or you just want a prettily tinted lip balm.
