Easy Leopard Look For Halloween

Unleash your inner animal this Halloween the easy way. I think we have a little bit of leopard-ness in all of us. Even though I love animal print clothes & accessories, I've never been a fan of the cat family (sorry!), except for Hello Kitty, coz she doesn't have claws and sharp teeth. And she has a bow-shaped peace sign on her forehead :). But after doing this look, I might say yes if my kids want a cat someday.

At first I drew longer whiskers but my shaky fingers got stage fright half-way, so I cleaned it all up and drew shorter ones instead =D

Loving The Smashbox Superstars

Meet the Smashbox collection of superstar products ~ all in  portable travel sizes to give you a flawless face at home or on the go!
These are cult favorites and the most popular Smashbox products, which include:
  • Bionic Mascara in Jet Black
  • Reflection High Shine Lip Gloss
  • O-Glow Intuitive Cheek Color
  • Photo Finish Foundation Primer
  • Fusion Soft Lights in Baked Starburst
It also comes with a Smashbox make-up artists booklet (which I've misplaced) of very interesting & useful makeup tips! I learnt quite a few things from it =)

I am in love with all these products from the Smashbox TRY ME Vol.2 Superstars, especially the Photo Finish Primer & O-Glow.

I bought this for about Rs.2430, which I think is not bad for 5 products. Since I've never tried any Smashbox stuff, I'm happy I got this coz I get to try a bunch of products all at once.

July Favorites ~ Featuring Colorbar, MAC, NYX, Marc Jacobs, Body Shop etc

I am loving so many things right now. These are just a few of my favorite things. Must-have products and worth every penny!

Marc Jacobs Daisy (RM.213.00)
Marc Jacobs Daisy is THE perfume for the girly girl. I just couldn't leave it behind when I left Delhi. If you tend to get motion sickness while travelling and strong perfumes make you feel nauseous, this is the one for you coz the fragrance is so soft & subtle. Plus the bottle design is beyond cuteness, would you really care how it smells? ;)

MAC To The Beach Collection India Launch Date

Who's waiting impatiently for MAC To The Beach Collection? It's old news to most countries who are now "Grooving" to 'kiss from a 'Rose'' playing on their 'Stereo' and flaunting their 'Petticoats'
But we, in Bharat, are still waiting on the edge of our seats for a taste of the beach before we can get into the groove.

Bourjois Blushes ~ History, All Shades & Photos

Since I'm such a BIG fan Bourjois, I've been asked a lot of times about what I think about their blushers. I've bought just one blush before now, which was Bonne Mine 13  , a pretty shade but looked too red on me, so I decided to make it a prize in my first ever giveaway  last year

Then after that I was too busy buying their 'new launches' until last week. I got 2 of the little round pots, and now I want ALL of them :P

~ A little about the history behind these little round pots ~

Source: Bourjois website

It all started in the 19th century, when Alexander Napoleon Bourjois began making light quality stage make-up for actresses, because he thought thick and messy greasepaint made of fat resulted in a mask-like effect.  The first dry powder make-up was called 'Rouge Fin De Theatre'

Then in 1863, he created a baked 'dry' powder that was perfumed with a delicate rose scent, which was made accessible not only to actresses but all women in decorated cardboard boxes (which I think I would like better) The blusher was dry-baked in a dry room in the Bourjois factory in Pantim, a suburb in Paris.

However, the dry baked  blushers were given names to describe their colors until 1879, one of the first being 'Rosette Brune' Can you believe this classic shade still exists today??? It's now called 'Cendre de Rose Brune' (3rd in the pics below) I didn't know! Otherwise I would've bought it without a second thought!

You can read more about the history in the Bourjois website. On to the blushes......

There are matte and shimmery with golden flecks Bourjois blushes. The ones with gold shimmer are all the ones with the word "d'or" at the end. 'D'or' means 'golden' in French.

Here are 15 shades of the blushes available in India. ENJOY!

My First YT Video ~ Night Out Make-up

Hi all,

I finally finished editing my first YT video. IT'S NOT SO GOOD btw. There's no sound during the first few seconds when I'm blabbering, coz I was having trouble combining own audio and without own audio (which had a lot of noisy background sound) Thanks to Rihanna's Te Amo! At least now I know that I shouldn't play music when filming! I'm sorry about that. I'm still learning...
You can just fast forward to the make-up part. I will put up another one with the audio in a few days.

I wanted to put up the video anyways coz I didn't sleep at all last night editing this, so I didn't want it to be a waste :)

Sound will start at 0:56

Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzing & Highlighting Powders Swatch & Review

The Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzing & Highlighting Powders come packed in a very cute magnetic notebook-like packaging. Look like chocolates, which makes them simply irresistible!

Bronzing Powder ~ Filled with glints of sunshine. The shade #51 (Peaux claires/medianes) is a medium shade suitable for light to medium skin tones. It looks quite similar to Benefit Hoola in my opinion.

Highlighting Powder ~ Coated with a soft pearly layer for an instant burst of radiance. This is shade #53 which is a mixture of vanilla, pink, purple and gold in it. Can be used on the face and decolletage.

Oh-my-gosh!!! I'm so in love with the packaging! I think it's the best collection design of Mac so far, with Hello Kitty Collection in second place.
