A new week, a new feature in IVC! Just something fun & light. Here are some of the 5-star rated products. Basically, products I would buy more than once:

Wearing Inglot Yellow & Turquoise Eyeshadows

What I love most about a lazy Sunday at home is the freedom I get to look as sloppy or as outrageous as I want. Today, I was weirdly attracted to this yellow eyeshadow, so I did a quick look with it. I could have tweezed my eyebrows in that time, bit I decided eyebrows can wait ;)

Look 1:

How To: 

• Apply yellow eyeshadow on the lids stopping before your natural crease line. Also apply it on inner half of lower lash line.

• Apply the turquoise eyeshadow on your crease with a thin brush, and blend the edges using window wiper & swirling motions. Also apply this on the outer half of lower lash line.

• Apply black eyeliner and wing it slightly at the ends.

• Apply a black kajal/pencil liner on lower lash line & smudge it a little with a brush.

• Lastly, apply black mascara on top & bottom lashes.

Forever 21 Jewelry HAUL & In Search Of A Dress

Yesterday I went to shop for some things I really need:

- #1: A formal dress for my very good/childhood friend's wedding, which is in exactly 26 days (aaahhh!)

- #2: Probably some accessories to match the dress.

Bird's Nest. I'd rather not think about what it is exactly. It's quite icky. Let's just think, birds are cute.

But on second thought, I have put it on my face.

What Really Is Bird’s Nest? Bird’s Nest comes from the Collocallia species of swiftlet birds which inhibit the mountains around South East Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia). Shaped like a bowl and about 3-5 inches in diameter, this intricate web of solidified saliva and other materials is formed by the male swiftlet during the breeding season in April. 

The packaging of this range of products is very attractive, with the pearly pale yellow & gold accents. It is one of the best I've seen in drugstore products. Both are quite heavy. The cream comes with a mirror on the cap & a plastic spatula.

Autumn Makeup ~ On Darker Skin Tone

There were requests for me to do a darker look after my darker skin tone lotd here, so this is for all you darker skin-toned beauties out there. This base is the darkest one I have. It was tough to layer it without it looking patchy, so I hope you won't find me looking too muddy hehe....

How I Deep Clean Makeup Brushes ~ Step-by-Step Photos

On Saturday, I deep cleaned some of my makeup brushes that I use often, and decided to clickety-click the whole process. It's a basic thing, but I hope you pick up some tips at least.

What is deep clean? It is basically washing your brushes thoroughly with soap & water, not a brush cleanser.

• Things needed ~ A shallow soap dish, water & a baby shampoo. I use Garnier Fructis Strawberry Kids Shampoo right now. I also use Johnson's Baby Shampoo.

I've been using Revlon Colorstay Foundation in for a year now, but I never thought about reviewing it, coz I thought my fotds were enough :p. Make Up For Ever Très Vichy Look & Tutorial

Better late than never! I've thought about doing this look since January, when I first saw the promo of Make Up For Ever  Très Vichy Collection. I had bought the gingham fabric since then, but couldn't make the bow lashes, coz the fabric with smaller checks didn't match this fabric I'm using right now. Yup, I'm a perfectionist obsessive that way. But thanks to the wonderful Rashmi, who sent me these lashes (post here), I was able to do it without any worries.

Très Vichy was a spring collection and we're almost touching fall, but I'm a bow enthusiast. It would be wrong, almost sacrilegious, if I didn't do it.
