I feel I have to go to this one...I don't know why, but I have to make it to this one! Yes, why you never go to these events and such? You're not gonna fall down or embarrass yourself all.the.time.! Plus, this one doesn't sound pretentious & boring - they didn't use words like "French-something....and one-on-one interview with.....". They said: 1) Wine & 2)Mannequin Challenge, okay?
Oh God, what should I wear?! I have nothing to wear! My closet is a mess, I can't find anything! I don't even remember what clothes I have anymore!
Btw, where are those black suspender tights???
See, I told you weeks ago to put away the summer clothes in the corner junk cupboard, I (told) telled you!
Oh no, what if it's a formal dress code... like gown and head gear and all.... like "Madame" type?
Okay, please calm down! That new black ruffle bodysuit.... That. Make it work.... and just GO!
Eeee.... who's this Bollywood's biggest superstar they speak of?
Umm... Shah Rukh? Ranbir? Ranveer? Aditya Ro...nah, he's not that big (Yet. But you will be.... Jaanu.)....How I wish The Weeknd was a Bollywood superstar too right now *sigh*!

I'd say my most favorite kind is the Forever New Blush Choker, and least favorite is the wire style, which I wouldn't have even bought had it not been part of a set.

Seriously though, some "chokers" look absolutely ridiculous! I mean, if it looks like a neck brace, or a noose, or some vague metal monstrosity ...nah-uh!

What's Christmas Like?

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! Hope you're having a day filled with love & happiness.

Well, I didn't really have a Christmas post lined up, coz it's been hectic lately. So I decided to use these pics (where my hair is a mess, btw)

Let's talk about deep, meaningful things in between.

What's your Christmas like?

Mine:

~ Discovering too late that the tree lights are all spoiled. It's okay, I'll get new ones after Christmas, before New Year's Eve.

~ There's a Santa soft toy from Hamley's, that I don't mind my son doesn't appreciate, because I secretly got him for myself. I whisper "Dear Santa, please........" in his ears, which he doesn't really have.

~ Watching Ziizayne mimic the facial expressions & dance moves in Sia's The Greatest. When I was pregnant with him, I used to blast Chandelier in my ears, btw.

~ Making plans to go out, and then decide it's too cold. 

~ Finding out that the geyser is broken while already under the shower.   

~ Watching Ziizayne play with his main Christmas present - a car track thing, and being enthu with one battery-operated car that comes with it more than he is. 

~ Christening my new The Body Shop Body Butters that I was gifted- Vanilla Chai & Frosted Berries. Both yum!

~ Not wanting to eat anything sweet & Christmassy.  Ordered spicy Indian food instead - Laal Maas from Coriander Leaf Restaurant. It's the best mutton curry ever!

~ Wanting to listen to long-time favorite Christmas songs - Last Christmas, All I Want For Christmas.... but finding them too peppy. 

~ Blasting R&B/Rap instead. A new artist I just discovered - NF. Listen to All I Have & Wait if you want to know what lyrics are filling my head.  

~ Feeling gangsta - in pyjamas - trying to ignore the pain from one remaining wisdom tooth. 

~ Waiting for 9 pm  8:30 pm 11 pm, so I can open the new wine - White.

Nails That Last....

Don't you just hate it when your nail polish starts to chip off only at the tips after, like, a day? For me, it happens more often, because I use that stainless steel scrubber to wash some dishes & the kitchen sink - so that means my right hand nails go first, pfft!

Applying hard-to-remove glitter nail polish at the tips has solved that problem....

Too Pretty To Use.....

Alright, we will not talk about those useless but pretty outer boxes we don't have the heart to throw away. 

(When I left the UK back then, I actually flattened a lot of them and tied them together nicely with a rubber band, so I could bring them back here. I have no idea where they are now!)

~ How about you're now only into black or nude/muted rose nail polish shades, and you find corals & pinks almost repulsive? This is when they should probably understand your state of mind.

Bangkok Hangover | Be Right Back

I had to hold my breath to keep myself from rolling on the floor laughing!

20 Months In Mommyland....

Me: "Baby, say Mommy. Mommm-mmmy. Can you say Mommy?"

Ziizayne: "tuhpaashukarruhkuh..."

Me: "No, baby. Say, Mommmm-mmmmeeeee."

Ziizayne: "kafuhrraratuh...."

Me: "C'mon baby pie, you can say it. Say Mama..."

Ziizayne: "tuhtuheeeyo..."

Me: "Maaaaa......"

Ziizayne: "taotaofuhfuhshuh...."

Me: "Okay, then."

About 10 minutes later:

Me: BABY, NOOOOO!!! HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO STAND ON MY LAPTOP???!!! YOU WANT ME TO SLAP YOU?!!!

Ziizayne: "Mamamamamama....." *Jumps on me, grabs my face &presses his drooly mouth on my cheek* 

Me: "Awwwww....are you saying Mommy? You are so smart, my baby!!!"

And that's the only time he ever really said that. He says "Mom-mom", but to my utter disappointment he means his pacifier or sometimes food =D

He can say "Cars" (his obsession) & he tries to say "Shoes",  but no "Mommy". Little bugger.

He is 20 months old today. Yup, a toddler who can't even lie still when I change his diaper! You should see me after his bath time. I always look like I'd just crawled from the Sahara Desert.

Will have to end this post abruptly guys.

We're in Hong Kong at the moment. Wanted to take this one to Disneyland. 

He watches Lion King, Tangled, Frozen, Wreck It Ralph, from start to finish like he can understand everything, so I hope he'll be thrilled! 

As for me, I didn't pack much from India (not even an eyeshadow palette!) *grins*
