If you don't like reading novels, good news is this one had been made into a movie, which is scheduled for release on October 3, 2014. It's directed by David Fincher, the same guy behind The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, so I have high expectations. Trailer:
Rumor is that the film will deviate from the novel, as its story will be structured differently. I read that the ending will be different in the movie, and I couldn't be more psyched. I didn't like the ending in the book at all! In truth, it made me angry.

Happy 5th blogversary! I love, love, love your blog. And of course, these transformations are simply brilliant. I haven't read this book yet, but seeing your transformation, I feel tempted to read it. And except for The Devil Wears Prada, I always prefer the book to the movie.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Dollie! I feel the same about The Devil Wears Prada, all coz of Meryl Streep's epic acting :)

Completely agree with that! You cant help but admire, Meryl Streep. And the book falls flat in that aspect.

First of all many congratulations on your Fifth Bloganniversary!! And secondly OH MY GOD!! you did a transformation based on Gone Girl!!! I love you so much more now, I LOVED the book. It was such a good read, and I was so excited about the movie coming out. I thought the trailer was a little murky, and I hope the movie lives up to the book. I really enjoyed reading and watching the girl with dragon tattoo so hoping this one will be good as well.
ReplyDeleteYou have done such a good job of transforming into Amy, I think this is exactly how I imagined her. I am trying to write this without any spoilers in it as I guess a lot of your readers might not have read the book yet. I highly highly recommend this book to anyone who hasn't yet. :)

Hey Cynthia! I was happy to see this post! I recommended this book to you sometime in Jan/Feb this year. Hope you liked it! (Gillian sure knows how to spin a tale thats multi-faceted) - Minus the ending like you said. That ending was just ugh. Happy blog-birthday! :) xx
