14 New Beauty Products On My Nightstand ~ From India & UK

For the last couple of weeks, I've been seriously craving GLITTER. I wanted some glitter eye shadows, badly. I have some, but they're all in our old apartment far away (and they are not very interesting.) I was so excited when I found some yesterday in Lifestyle. If you are not at all interested in glitter jhatakness, worry not, there are more things you can look at, coz it is sort of a Collective Haul post.
Faces Stackable Sparkle Glitter ~ Look! Aren't they super cute stacked up like that?! Colors: Silver, Gold, White, Blue, Pink, Purple. I know exactly what I'm sprinkling on my eyes first. Price: Rs.499
Faces Sparkle Dust in Light Pink ~  I noticed this before the glitters. These also come stacked, but I just a single for now. Price: Rs.200-something.
L'Oreal Stain Splash in Lolita (Nude) & Marilyn (Fuchsia) ~ Quite disappointed with these, coz they don't have as much color payoff as the first shade I'd tried, Princess (swatched here)
Lakmé Gloss Stylist in Pink Pout ~ Thought I should give one of these a try, since I have not got new Lakmé products in a long time. Will swatch it and let you know if it's worth the Rs.700 price tag.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch ~ It's a bubblegum pink! Hope it delivers the same color on lips too. A last Superdrug purchase.
Nivea Raspberry Rose Lip Butter, Rs.189 ~ Mr.CZ got this for me ♥ He saw I always looked at it in UK, and then I'd say "It'll be cheaper in India. I'll wait." Had I known the difference is only Rs.26....haha! =D
L'Oreal Kajal Magique ~ Been wearing this for a week, and I don't think it's great. I find it too hard, but it could get softer in summer when it's warm. Price: Rs.245.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder ~ Been on my wishlist forever. It was one of the last things I bought in Scotland. I felt lucky I got it, coz it was out of stock a couple times I went looking for it. Will do a detailed post about it.
Olay Regenerist Revitalising Hydration Cream/Moisturiser ~ I bought this thinking it's an Eye Cream! :O It's a Trial Pack, so I just assumed something that small was eye cream. I noticed it's a moisturiser until I reached home. I got it on my first trip to a supermarket in Delhi since I got back, so maybe I was still jet-lagged or something =D Price:Rs.349 (Thank goodness it's not bad!)
On extreme right is a new range of Revlon Colorstay products sent by Revlon. I've yet to try them:

Colorstay Foundation  for Normal/Dry Skin in Buff ~ Now the bottle comes with a pump! This Buff shade might be too light for me. Sand Beige would probably suit me more.

Colorstay Concealer in 03 Light Medium ~ This shade looks okay.

Colorstay Nail Polish in Rain Forest 220 ~ Can't wait to sport this. More glitter!
Just a naturally foggy picture that I like

Speaking of Glitter, stay tuned for a tutorial one of these days. I know it's been a while since I did one. Please bear with me. There are other priorities in my life right now. One: We were going to close on an apartment. Owners increased price last minute (petty & unethical people!) Now we have to go look again, and pick another. Hopefully, last viewing tomorrow. Two: I need to find a place to set up my camera. Staying at in-laws place.

***A little mind game for you: If you noticed something odd in this post, do mention what it is in the comments below ;)

  4. I think what you mea by what is odd is this line: These also come stacked, but I just a single for now.

you said "but I just a single for now" whereas you meant "but I just BOUGHT a single ONE for now"

    Am I right? :D

  10. The odd thing is that why are these products on your 'nightstand'. Nightstand products could be hand cream, lip butters etc.. :P

  21. Hmm.. something odd? The pics are all tilted, or may be it'e the fact that resisted whipping up Nivea lip butter (last time you couldn't resist). Nothing else I can think of.

  22. How do you apply your glitters Cynthia? I have the same Faces stack and find it difficult to apply with my Inglot duraline :(
    Any tips?

    1. Maybe you should try a makeup setting spray instead? I use the MAC Fix+ for all my loose pigments and stuff like that. Works like a charm :-)

    2. Maybe you should apply Duraline on your lids then layer glitter on top. Or use a clear lipgloss, like I do :)

    3. You can also make a solution that can be easily made at home. Just mix 3 parts of rubbing alcohol/spirit and 1 part of glycerine. Mixx it well and store it in a cleaned eye drop bottle or lens case. The fun part is I use an injection(without syringe ofcourse) to measure.

  23. Speaking of that Baby Lips, I just saw Tanya using the exact same shade in her latest makeup tutorial and I was immediately reminded of you! :-)

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
