Lakme Desert Rose Quartet Swatches & EOTD


My sister-in-law bought 2 of these by mistake, so she gave one to me. I had never seen Desert Rose up close before, so I was smitten with the pretty pearly shades, especially the gold & pink.

The eyeshadows are quite pigmented. I'd say the shimmery light pink shade is the least pigmented.

EOTD I did with all the eyeshadows from the quartet....

  •  Gold ~ On inner 3/4th  & tear duct area
  •  Pink ~ Outer corner, crease, brow bone
  •  Bronze ~ Inner half of lower lash line
  •  Copper ~ Outer corner of upper & lower lash line
My favorite shades from this palette: Gold  & Copper. I think this quartet is ideal for evening/party/Indian bridal looks.

    Such a pretty palette. The swatches are gorgeous, really love the shades. The eye shadows look beautiful on your eyes.

    Hi CZ, I had bought this ages ago, didn't know Lakme` was still churning these out..personally I didn't like it one bit its too much of shimmer, and fall out.. the shades barely last on their own.. though love the beautiful look you've managed to create with these..

    Too bad that the pink is the least pigmented, as it's the color i'm most drawn to. Your look is beautiful but shimmery shadows don't really work too well on me.

    The first eye product I ever bought! All the colours are so versatile and soo pigmented na! A little too sheeny for day wear but looks gorrgeous over traditional clothes, after seeing it on my eyes, two of my friends bought it too! :))
    You've done such a subtle look with this..looks great Cynthia :)

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible!
