Rupee Sign Inspired Look

I have wanted to do this for a while now, ever since the Rupee sign became official in August 2010, right?  Don't quote me on that lol...I don't read/watch the news much.
Anyways, were you ecstatic as I was about it?
From the day I was born, the Americans had $, the English had £, and we Indians had "Rs." and let's face it, aar-ess is not fancy like signs. Remember those movie scenes where dollar signs fly about to indicate a lot of money? Well, imagine 'Rs' flying about like that. Yup.
But now we have our very own rupee symbol...Yay! And an edgy-looking one too!

I L♥VE IT!

Even before I could draw it perfectly on paper, I decided to draw it on my eyes first. Actually, when I first saw this sign, I immediately thought about eyeliner!

Face ~ Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation, YSL Touche Eclat, Laura Mercier Setting powder, Inglot Cream blush #84 & MAC Pink Swoon on top.
Lips ~ Maybelline Color Sensational Pink Petal
Eyes ~ I used Loreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss. Tri-colored eyeshadows from Lakme's  Silk Route & Tanjore Rush, Maybelline Hello Kitty Cat Eyes Mascara

Not perfect, I know =)

How many of you make that face when you run out of money while shopping? Hmm...what can I get with a  100 bucks? ( I wanted to put the sign with that but I don't know how to!!! =( )

It's a coincidence that my F21 earrings have peacocks on them. Peacock is the national bird of India! =D

Anyone knows how to type it yet? Or, where can I copy it from? I don't want to write arr-ess anymore hehe...

  16. Download & install the Rupee font like Rupa said above. Then when you want to use it select the 'rupee font' amongst your fonts & press ` (the weird symbol on the left of number 1 on your keyboard).

But I find it a little difficult to use the symbol online. For instance, I tried pasting it in the comment but all I could paste was `

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
