Hey, Everyone! Hope you're having a good week so far. It looks like July is going to be a haul month. SALES are starting very soon everywhere, so keep your monies safe for now. No clothes and accessories till you see that 50% OFF poster. I've made the mistake of buying clothes that were put up on sale only 5 days later before. Not a good feeling! That's why when I was at a mall last week, I stayed away from all my favorite fashion destinations. I just went to beauty stores - where nothing ever goes on sale!
My last stop was Sephora, specially to get one brush that I'd seen last time I was at the store.......
Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter (Mini) ~ I got this little tub, coz I want to use it as a hand cream, and I'm afraid I'll want the bigger tub when it's over. It smells yum, just like the S&G Flake Away Body Polish. Price: Rs.390
NYX Butter Gloss in Peaches & Cream ~ I couldn't resist this peachy pink shade. It's a thick lip gloss, that's quite similar to Maybelline Lip Polish - finish & texture-wise. Price: Rs.450
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa ~ In LOVE! It's a fuchsia pink matte lip cream. Will wear it and show you one of these days. Price: Rs.530

Sephora Classic Mineral Powder Brush #45 ~ Visit's purpose. It wasn't displayed where it was displayed the previous time, and I thought it was sold out - very upsetting. A male SA went searching for it, and found it on another side of the store! Bless him. I'm already obsessed with it. I use it to apply foundation and powder, but you could use it for other face products too. Price: Rs.1400. (Was shocked to see some Sephora brushes are priced at 4k+ & 6k+ !!!)
Closer look at the Sephora Classic Mineral Powder Brush. It is fluffier and a little softer than the Sigma F82 Round Top Kabuki Brush
This haul is mixed. All products I got online from Nykaa when they had their 20-25% off (only on select products) fest for 3 days last month. I wasn't very happy with their service. They didn't deliver the products all at once - 5 times! They also sent a wrong product one time. Basically, I had to wait for weeks.
Maybelline Color Show Nail Polishes in Constant Candy & Pinkalicious (the pearl-looking one) - I feel cheated, coz the swatch of Pinkalicious on the website was fuchsia. Even in some google images, actually. I guess it's because we have a different range here, but there's a fuchsia Pinkalicious in other parts of the world *sighs* . But this one is also pretty. Price: Rs.75 each.
Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in Fresh Coral ~ I had to get the last of these cuties. I'd swatched the other 2 shades, Peachy Sweetie & Creamy Cinnamon, here. Price: Rs.250
Nivea Fruity Shine Watermelon Lip Balm ~ Can't wait to try this! Price: Rs.140. (Only this was from New U.)
Denman Dress-Out Brush ~ I got this for back-combing, so let's see how it fares. It's meant for wigs too. Price: Rs.375.
Soulflower Ocean Mineral Green Tea & Tangerine Bath Salt ~ I'll admit, I wasn't really interested in bath salts, I was only drawn to the packaging and the bright yellow color. But I've used their pink (strawberry?) bath salt before, and I managed to finish it. Price: Rs.350.
How pretty is that bottle?! So summery, isn't it?
We have a faulty bathtub, which leaks even when it's blocked, so I don't know when I'll get to use it. For now, I'm just displaying it like it's some kind of valuable showpiece =D

ReplyDeleteMy favourite is Maybelline Cheeky Glow fresh coral. This is my favorite blush as it stays on my face for 6 to 7 hours without any proper base and primer and makes me glow. If I use this with primer the blush stayed once continuously for 18 hours and I had to remove it with a bi phased remover.

ReplyDeleteCheeky blush in coral is highly pigmented.makes me look like a carrot addict ^.^ nivea lip balm is useless. Looking forward to the Nyx lip cream AA review. I have heard one shade called strawberry jam is also good from the same range. Did lot of shopping from select city today. Got few sephora gift vouchers. Want to redeem against some of your recommended products ;) Sonia

ReplyDeleteEven I ordered from nykaa haul, I tell you ditto happened wid me. They sent d wrong product. Images on the screen were looking different and appearing different. So much calling and emails happened and den finally all sorted after a month. Phew.

Infact during discount , I bought produts worth 3k thru two orders.first order reached on time . second order got delayed by 10 days !! But they kept me updated via frequent mails. After I received my late order , I got an apology mail along with a 100/- coupon , as a token of regret !!! :D D

ReplyDeleteI've tried Fresh Coral, its a nice color but wish it was more long lasting! Constant Candy is a nice pastel color but needs to be applied carefully, or it will get streaky! There's 25% discount on select products at Rimmel and Bourjois in Westside and 25% off Rimmed in Shoppers Stop in some places, in Mumbai. Do check them in case there's something similar in Delhi =)

Oh actually the same thing happened with me I too ordered for pinkalicious thinking that it's a fuchsia pink but they also gave me this same color, I had to order it again with the correct shade name.
