Current Beauty Favorites

Hi! If you're not following me on Instagram or my personal Facebook Page, it may seem I've been gone from the blog for a long time, and you don't know the happy news yet. Which is, we have found an apartment & we are moving in probably next week. I'm super excited, because I can't wait for life to start....and have all my things set up properly. That white fluffy things is a new rug for my dressing room.
Now let's talk favorites! Starting from the tall ones back there:
Palmolive Thermal Spa Mineral Massage Body Wash, Rs.135 ~ With thermal salts & white clay. This has got to be of my most favorite body washes. I've gone through 2 bottles since I got back to India. I just love that it smells like a holiday by the beach.
Vaseline Healthy White Complete 10 Lightening & Anti-Aging Body Lotion, Rs.175 ~ I went through many bottle of the original Healthy White Body Lotion, mainly coz I liked the smell so much. This one is a slightly more moisturizing version with anti-aging benefits, but smells the same.
Pond's Dreamflower Talcum Powder, Rs.49 ~ I previously used the purple one, which lasted forever! I decided to try this pink one, and it smells lovely, although I like the fragrance of the purple one a little bit more.
MAC Brush Cleanser, Rs.650 ~ A brush cleanser is a must-have. I was using one by Stage Cosmetics (Malaysian brand), which lasted for a long long time! There was still some left in the bottle when I discarded it in Scotland. I had to turn to MAC when I got back, because again, there's not many available here in India. It works well & cleans even the dirtiest brush in a jiffy.
Now on to the little makeup stuff & tools:
Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow Permanent Taupe or Tough As Taupe, Rs.350 ~ Most used eyeshadow at the moment. It is all I use before kohl and mascara when in a rush. I've used it in a tutorial here.
Inglot Eye Makeup Primer, Rs.550 ~ It's awesome! There's not a lot of e/s primers available in India, so this one is the best one that is not too expensive. Prevents creasing & it really does make eyeshadows look more vibrant.
Maybelline Color Show Blueberry Ice, Rs.75 ~ Gotta love happy blue on nails!
YSL Teint Touche Eclat Foundation (Sample size) : My skin is between dry and oily, and very fussy these days because of the hormones. I find that matte foundations make it look dull and flaky. I turned to this one the other day, and it made it look a lot less drab. I may buy a big bottle OR look for a similar drugstore dupe (I'm thinking Bourjois 10 hr Sleep Effect Foundation, let's see!) My shade is BD30, a yellow-toned beige.
Collection Lasting Colour Black Gel Eyeliner,Rs.509 ~ The only gel liner I'm using these days. It's super black and glides smoothly.
Revlon Colorstay Concealer 03 Light Medium, Rs.700 ~ Great for brightening undereye area and suits my skin tone nicely. It's non-cakey & non-greasy, and sets like a second skin. Might be too sheer for heavy dark circles though.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar A.I. Targeted Breakout Corrector, Rs.966 ~ Hormonal/Pregnancy pimples, I had them a couple weeks ago. This helped dry and clear them in 1-3 days.
Tangle Teezer Compact Styler Gold Rush, Rs.1272 ~ Truly the best hairbrush I've ever used. 100% worth the hype. It makes blah hair fall better and smoother. It's strange the way it works, but it definitely makes unruly hair look better!
H&M Mini Kabuki Brush, Rs.307 ~ Makes a great setting powder brush. I like that it's small and gets around the eyes easily. More pics here
Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Punch, Rs.304 ~ Love! Shows up a light pink on my lips.
Tweed Handbag is Forever New From Paris With Love. Shown on my 2nd blog here

That's all for today. I'll talk to you again shortly.

Would love to know what's your #1 most loved beauty product at the moment.

My heart goes out to Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370. They have to find it. Somehow. I've been on Malaysian Airlines quite a few times, and it's hard to think something like this could happen in real life. I keep reading updates several times a day. Not that I'm comparing it to Lost, but I imagine the passengers on an island somewhere, waiting to be found, but safe and sound.

  1. I think my favorite thing right now has got to be Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage. I love the way it matches my skin tone and makes my face look instantly better by hiding the little blemishes and dark circles.

Off topic here, but could you please tell me if there's any issue with image quality while shooting with your Pink camera in normal(not enhanced) indoor lighting? I finally found and ordered it online but have been reading bad reviews everywhere :-( Would really appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3
