HAUL From India ~ Lakmé, Maybelline, Avon, Pond's + Online Shopping Experience

Only yesterday I told you a package was on its way to me, and today I got it! Woohoo! All thanks to my sis & bro in-law who sent it very quickly. What I did was order them online, and get them shipped to my in-laws' place in New Delhi, and they they mail them to me. It's a 2-3 week process, but it's the only way I get to have the best of both worlds.

Let's start with the lip products:

• Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lip Gloss ~ Electric Shock #06 (pink), Raspberry Reflections #100 (purple). Price: Rs.350 each

• Lakmé Absolute Lip Tint {Limited Edition} ~ Berry Pink. So many people have asked me to review & swatch these, so i just had to get one. Price: Rs.800 <<< THIS o_O

• Lakmé 9 To 5 Lip Color ~ Blush Work #MP10. I was surprised to see so many shades in this range. I picked this one because it's coral, and it's very unlike Lakmé to make a shade like it. Price: Rs.400.

• Avon Totally Kissable Lipsticks ~ Caressing Coral, Coy Copper, Lovey Dovey Pink. {PR Samples} 

Face products:

• Lakmé CC Cream in Beige ~ I couldn't decide between Bronze shade and Beige. I thought Beige was gonna be too light, Bronze too orange. I went with Beige, and it's okay, maybe a tad light, but let's see after a few uses. Price: Rs.250.

• Pond's White Beauty BB+Fairness Cream in Natural Cover ~  I got the 18g size. I think it's available in just this one shade. Very excited to try it! Price: Rs.125.

I shopped online from 2 websites: MedPlusBeauty & Purplle.

MedplusBeauty ~  Items: Pond's White Beauty BB+Fairness Cream, Lakmé Absolute Lip Tint, Lakmé 9 To 5 Lip Color. Shipped on time, delivered on time. But they don't send email telling you they've shipped your order. Free shipping above Rs.600, otherwise Rs.50 shipping cost.

Purplle ~ Items: Lakmé CC Cream & Maybelline Lip Glosses. Ordered on 12th. On 16th, received email that dispatch delayed because Lakme CC Cream Beige wasn't available. Finally shipped on 19th. One week! Free shipping above Rs.699.

I was quite surprised to see VioletBag has now put a flat Rs.100 shipping fee, when they used to offer free shipping on orders over Rs.250. I also found quite a few more new online sites, some that don't even specify which shades they're selling!

I've worn the Maybelline glosses, Lakmé  Lip Tint & Lipstick, already today. Swatches to come!

Now I REALLY understand why accurate swatches are so helpful, because I found it quite difficult to pick the shades, especially since I've never even seen the products in real life. So now I get why you all like swatches.  =)
