Bourjois Flower Perfection Foundation & Loose Powder Review

I'm feeling nervous about this review. Because, I have mixed feelings about both the products. I don't believe in mixed feelings & in-between. Especially in relationships- "I don't know whether I like him or not." Wth is that?! Either you like, or you don't like. But ya, not everything is that black and white, is it? I still don't know whether I like that Virat Kohli (Indian cricketer) or not.
Bourjois Flower Perfection Youth Extension Foundation: With Wild Azalea & SPF 15. Promises velvety smooth finish for up to 16 hours.
Coverage- Medium to heavy.
Finish- Very Matte.
Awesome packaging! Has a built-in smoothing sponge applicator that, I feel, would have been more user-friendly if it there's a tiny handle at the back (like a door). Especially if you keep long nails, it's difficult to hold it and apply without scratching your face.It smells nice & flowery. Although this is shade 53, which is the same as my Healthy Mix Foundation, it turns out out lighter (whitish) on me. It does not photograph well. I wore it in a recent look & my skin looked so patchy, I had to adjust the lighting a lot. Skin doesn't look naturally flawless, it emphasizes the tiny bumps on my nose and under eye areas, it looks like it sits on my face mocking its flaws. Keep in mind that I have oily skin, and this still made it look flaky in some areas. Having said all that, I could still use it....hopefully.
Bourjois Flower Perfection Foundation Beige Claire #53

As you can see, it does not look very even. Both photos were taken in natural daylight, but somehow the one with foundation always turned out "whiter". However, it does conceal blemishes well for a foundation- that's why I don't hate it completely.
Price ~ Rs.1250
My Rating ~ ♥♥♥♥♥ 3/5 (Average)
Bourjois Flower Perfection Loose Powder Universal Shade : This smells so good, I feel like I'm dusting myself with a bouquet. Would be perfect for a date (if he isn't allergic to flowers). It's a silky white powder, that looks transparent when blended. I like that it has a wheel cover to prevent too much powder from gathering on top. The only problem is, it doesn't do a good job at keeping the oilies away, face gets oily after 10 minutes. I'm thinking about using this on my hair, when I don't have time to wash it.
Price ~ Rs.640
My Rating ~ ♥♥♥♥♥ 3.5/5

I might recommend the powder, only because it smells girly, but I wouldn't recommend the foundation.

Out with the mixed feelings. I don't like. I mean, Virat Kohli. He's really not my type, not because Mr.CZ might be reading this =D

    1. I like Revlon Colorstay for Oily/Combination skin & MUFE HD Foundation. Colorbar Triple Act Compact is really good too Rentu, so do give that a try.

  7. What do I do to get rid of hyperpigmentation? I have really patchy skin. I do facials but is there any specific facial that helps with this? Or any good cream you know?

    1. Exfoliation, Microdermabrasion, whitening creams, and sunblock. I don't go for facials, so can't say. But I know they have diff facial types for specific skin concerns. Creams with Vit C help too. Will do a post on other creams sometime.

    2. I've used Triluma & it removed my hyperpigmentation, but it's not widely available. I'm also hearing a lot about Meladerm, but have not used it.

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
