There were requests for me to do a darker look after my darker skin tone lotd here, so this is for all you darker skin-toned beauties out there. This base is the darkest one I have. It was tough to layer it without it looking patchy, so I hope you won't find me looking too muddy hehe....
I applied a maroon-ish lipstick before the one above. Here is a pic, so you'd get an idea.....
Although it doesn't look bad, I felt the firebrick shade suited this look more, because of the gold on the eyes & I looked older with the maroon lip (nahiii...!)
Foundation ~ Kryolan Supracolor. I used the darkest one all over my face & the lighter one under my eyes. They are satin finishes, hence the glowy/shiny look. Applied with a damp sponge.
*I erased my mole because it was looking like a pimple with the darker skin tone =D
Powder ~ The Body Shop Honey Bronzing Powder #02 (Photos here) to set foundation. I don't have a darker powder, so it was my only choice. At this moment I'm thinking I should have used Benefit Hoola.
Cheeks ~ Benefit Hoola to contour, Bourjois Lilas D'or
Lips ~ Lakme Aquashine Lip Color in Firebrick. The maroon one is Lakme Enrich Satin #130
Eyes ~ 88 Earth Tone Palette (Review here). Stars on the colors used, including black & shimmery brow bone color (not shown), Lotus Kajal to line eyes, a thin line of Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner, False lashes, mascara on top & bottom lashes.
What skin tone do you think this is in MAC? I'd say it is NW40-45. It is definitely a warm skin tone.

Wow, you look great all bronzed and tanned out! The lip and eyes definition stand out against the darker skin! Reminds me of some work I'm doing for art class. I did japanese street fashion inspired looks, some are sweet, some are crazy! Take a look at my post on it if you've got the time! You're looking lovely as always!

Can you please tell me what exact product/brand did you use? and if your previous hair color is black before you dye it? Your response will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. :)
ReplyDeleteHi,
