MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection Haul & Swatches

Went to MAC in Fenwick (a dept. store like Debenham's) to buy 1 lipstick & 1 blush from the newly-launched Marilyn Monroe Collection.
Selected 1 lipstick- Love Goddess, 1 blush- The Perfect Cheek, False Lashes.
Calculated. Damn this Great British Pound!
Reluctantly put away the False Lashes.
Paid for the other 2 products and left store..... feeling very uneasy.
Stopped about 4 steps away from the entrance.
Stood there for 10 minutes....thinking.... thinking.....staring, but not really looking, at the flowers in a florist shop nearby.
Time to go back..... to MAC, yes.
5 minutes later, paid for (False lashes) (Charmed, I'm Sure) Scarlet Ibis.
Left store..... smiling this time. 
Ooh.... fuchsia pink & yellow carnations!

Love Goddess (Satin): Mid-tone pink red shade. An innocent pinkish red, that's easier on the eyes than most reds. The satin finish makes the lips look more pouty. Price- £15.50 (Rs.1297)

Scarlet Ibis (Matte): Bright orange red shade. Why I picked this over Charmed, I'm Sure was because it is a more unique color, and boy am I glad I did, coz it is sooo...gorgeous! The SA was wearing it too, and WOW it sealed the deal. It's opaque & on the same league as MAC Party Parrot. Price- £15.50 (Rs.1297)

The Perfect Cheek Blush (Matte): Neutral pink beige shade. I knew I'd pick this over Legendary from the start. When I swatched both, Legendary looked too light & highlighter-ish, whereas The Perfect Cheek is matte with more color. I tried it on my cheeks, and it looked stunning under the MAC store lights. Don't be fooled by how light it looks in the pan, coz it does show up pinker when it touches the skin. The best subtle blush I've ever tried! I'm falling for it. Price- £19.00 (Rs.1590)

Store pics (with mobile phone) & thoughts on other Marilyn Monroe Products:

1st- Pure Zen: Nice peachy nude shade. 

4th- Deeply Adored: The darkest of the all. Before you get it, make sure you check out Bourjois Sweet Kiss #78 Rouge Intemporal first. It looks very similar to it. I got it a while back, but never posted the photos. 

False Lashes:  Looked very nice, but no Monroe packaging. Price- £10.00 (Rs.837)

Beauty Powder: Very smooth powder with a little bit of sheen.

All Others: Not interested.
