Skinfood Black Sesame Hot Mask Review

What it is:
This highly moisturizing heating mask provides deep cleansing to skin with the thermal effect of roasted salt and granulated sugar. Black sesame seed nutrients leave skin soft and smooth.

To Use:
After washing, apply to wet face, avoiding eye areas.
Massage in circular motion, focusing on dry areas, wait 3-5 minutes, and then wash off with warm water.
Use in environment with moderate temperature; if used in a hot environment such as a bathroom or sauna, mask can overheat.

I went to Skinfood with the intention of buying only one face mask- the Rice Mask (review coming later), but once I tried this and felt how smooth it made the back of my hand (like new skin, really) I had to have it! Some may get turned off by the blackish-grey color, but I like it, especially after using the MAC Volcanic Ash Exfoliator. Once you go black, you can't go back. Nah...I know nothing about that! I just think with face masks, the weirder-looking, the better  :)

Hotness ~ Don't worry it's not crazy hot. Your face just becomes warm for a while, then it feels like any other face mask.

Smell ~ It smells like sesame, I guess.

Likes:
♥   This mask has amazing exfoliating properties. My skin feels really clean, soft & smooth afterwards.
♥   Non-drying & does not cause pimples.
♥   Tub packaging is convenient. I like masks I can scoop up with my fingers rather than squeeze tubes.
♥   Reduces blackheads
♥   It is not drippy. It is kind of sticky & not creamy. The consistency is just right for it to spread evenly on the face.
♥   Doesn't leave any filmy residue after rinsing
♥  The big chunks of black sesame are not scratchy
♥  I love the 'hot' feeling. It tells me it's doing something rather than just sitting idly on my face.

Dislikes:
-    Not available in India. Or should I say- not easily available everywhere?

I am loving this mask, and would repurchase. It cleans, it exfoliates, it smoothens...it's hot!

Price ~  Around Rs.550-600 for 110 g. I bought it from Malaysia.
Rating ~ ♥♥♥♥4/5

It's probably sold online. Sasa.com used to sell it, but I checked and didn't find it.

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
