Lotus WhiteGlow Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub Review

Claims:
Lotus WhiteGlow Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub exfoliates the skin gently, removes dirt, impurities, blackheads and whiteheads leaving your skin brighter and healthier with a shining glow. The gentle exfoliating action works on skin discoloration, dull and uneven skin tones and softens the skin giving you a firmer texture.
Oatmeal exfoliates gently, restores the natural moisture balance of the skin and yogurt moisturizes and lightens the skin reducing imperfections giving you silky, smooth and brighter skin.
For all skin types.

How to use:
Gently apply the scrub on moistened skin with brisk circular movements on your face and neck, Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Use twice a week.

Review:
Wow! Why can't I use it everyday? I'm so addicted to this scrub! Seriously, I have to remind myself everyday that it's not a good thing to exfoliate my skin daily. I just love that it is white and kinda looks like a rice scrub. I was so bored of beige-colored apricot/walnut face scrubs that this is like the first good change for me. I'm thinking I sound like a racist at this point, but I'm really NOT! =D

The Oatmeal grains/beads aren't very big or harsh, so they are very gentle. Gentler than apricot scrubs, but not so gentle that it feels more like a thick cream than a scrub. I'm guessing we all hate those types of scrubs. This does almost everything it claims:
  • Removes blackheads/whiteheads? Yes, but it doesn't draw out blackheads embedded deep in the skin.
  • Softens and moisturizes skin? Yes.
  • Gives smooth and silky skin? Smooth- yes, Silky- not so much.
  • Brightens skin & make it glow? Yes.
  • Works on skin discoloration/dark spots? Not yet.
  • Evens out skin tone? Yes, but not dramatically.
For me, there is nothing to dislike here. If you want an inexpensive scrub that multi-tasks, this is it.

How I use it: I apply it on my moistened face, massage all over, and then I leave it on like a mask for roughly 5-10 mins (I don't let it dry completely) and then rinse it off. I think my skin soaks benefits more from the scrub that way. It looks brighter, and feel plumper & softer.
