The Body Shop Cucumber Freshening Water Review


The Body Shop Cucumber Freshening Water is a toner made of:
  • Community Trade Aloe Vera from Guatemala - is renowned for its incredible soothing and hydrating properties.
  • Cucumber extract - is a gentle ingredient to help refresh the skin.
  • Witch Hazel - helps to refresh the skin.
Ingredients: Aqua (Solvent/Diluent), Rosa Centifolia Flower Water (Natural Additive), Polysorbate 20 (Emulsifier), Sodium PCA (Humectant), Alcohol Denat. (Solvent/Diluent), Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Cucumis Sativus Juice (Natural Additive), Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative), Parfum (Fragrance), Hexyl Cinnamal (Fragrance Ingredient), Glycerin (Humectant), Citric Acid (pH Adjuster), Hamamelis Virginiana Extract (Natural Additive), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Geraniol (Fragrance Ingredient), Methylparaben (Preservative), Butylphenyl Methylpropional (Fragrance Ingredient), Butylparaben (Preservative), Ethylparaben (Preservative), Isobutylparaben (Preservative), Propylparaben (Preservative).

How to use: Apply to cotton pad and sweep over face after cleansing. If product gets in eyes, rinse with clean water.

Likes:
♥ It smells sooo good! Like cucumbers, but a little more...exotic, like a mocktail
♥ It picks up the last traces of dirt from my face after I've cleansed it, so it's a great exfoliant.
♥ It cools my skin & feels very gentle. 
♥ It does not sting my skin
♥ It hydrates my skin & shrinks my pores
♥ It makes my face feel very smooth & silky(with a glowy sheen) when it dries
♥ My skin absorbs serums & moisturizers quicker after this.
♥ The 250 ml bottle will last a long time


Dislikes:
- I wish it was priced below Rs.400. A 1 litre Tropicana Juice box costs only 75 bucks. Okay, the juice box will run out in a week, but you know what I mean.

Best toner I've ever used, including Clinique Clarifying Lotion which stank of alcohol! 
I think this cucumber water suit all skin types. I really really love it! I recommend it 100%

Is it different from Rose Water? Yes,it is. First, it smells better. Second, it removes dirt which rose water doesn't do.

    *gasp* better than clinique clafifying lotion??? yeah, it's true, the smell isn't the best thing out there. THIS I gotta try! :D

    What type of skin do you have? My skin is dry/normal and veryy sensitive! I'm pretty scared to try new things but I really want to try this... Ive never used a toner before!

    darla darling- mine is combination/oily. It's quite gentle. Maybe u can try it at the store one day and see if it suits u before buying?
