3 The Body Shop Must-haves For Winter

Winter is here. I'm reminded of that more by my body than the decreasing temperature. My skin just can't get enough moisture these days. 3 types of lip balms & 2 types of moisturizers in my living room alone! So, I thought it was time to haul 3 of the Body Shop products I love to use in winters.

1. Spa Wisdom Africa Honey & Beeswax Hand and Foot Butter (Rs.995) ~ This is my all-time favorite TBS product. I had the first version of this, and I'm glad they didn't change the product much apart from the jar design. Quantity is still the same- 125 ml. I just adore the canister jar! Totally reusable. Afterwards, you can store your own homemade scrubs & bath salts, or transfer body lotion from those huge bottles when you travel.

It's so buttery and smells SO good! I can't help imagining it on a cracker. My heels were starting to crack, but after using this for one night, they're all smooth again. Hey, we need soft feet that won't damage those new chic tights we plan to wear all winter.

2. Cocoa Butter Cream Body Scrub (Rs.745) ~ Since you don't sweat in winters, it's necessary to exfoliate your body frequently to remove flakiness and dead skin. I decided to stray from my favorite TBS Coconut Body Scrub and try out a different one for a change. I was never a fan of the smell of cocoa butter (hello, Palmer's!), but I'm surprised that I wasn't appalled by this. I think it's the Ground Rice that makes it smell kinda edible.

I love the feel of it- like thick porridge. The scrub is strong, which makes it great for the feet too.

3. Born Lippy Pink Guava Lip Balm (Rs.195) ~ Who can survive winters without lip balms, right? I love TBS Born Lippy lip balms. This is actually a new flavor I'm trying and it's pretty good. It smells nice & fruity, and does a good job healing my chapped lips. My only thought is: If it's Pink Guava then why isn't it Pink???

TBS Born Lippy Pink guava Swatch ~ Natural with just a hint of peach

What are your favorite TBS products? Any products that you love using in winters?

  10. My fave TBS prod will be the Hemp footcare cream. Its out of stock in all the outlets in Delhi right now. It has worked on my mom's cracked heels, so u can imagine how good it is. Of course it doesn't look as delish as the Honey & beeswax one, but it does the trick:)

  14. Oh, this is so funny. I also didn't like Palmer's cocoa butter body lotion. I didn't like its scent and the lotion did nothing for my skin! Big fail!

  15. Please educate me on how to use a scrub! I've never bought one because I just don't know how to use one lol. See I always use a loofah anyway with body wash, so am I supposed to put some of the scrub on the loofah and use it before the body wash or after?? Also am I supposed to leave it on for a bit?? Helpp!!

  17. I have very dry and flaky skin too. Recently I purchased the cocoa butter scrub in a Body Shop sale. At first, I wasn't impressed with the smell..lol. I have to say that I am not at all disappointed by the product :D I used it just on my arms and didn't even need a moisturizer after that. I scratched to see if it worked and fortunately, there were no dry patches and no stretchy feeling! Only, I prefer taking a little bit of scrub in a small dish or something, so that I don't end up dropping the tub or filling it with water. I will definitely buy this again and again! :D

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
