Buy A Satin Pillowcase Before Anti-aging Creams & Hair Treatments

For the last 1 year or so, I always make sure that I sleep on a satin pillowcase every night when I'm home. I don't care if the rest of the bed materials are of a different design and color, because the benefits are worth the daily mismatch.

I am telling you, it does wonders! My hair looks healthier and shinier than ever! And I really do mean 'ever' (say, 5-6 years ever.) And I don't see loose hair stuck on my pillowcase when I wake up anymore! If you have very frizzy, unruly hair, a satin pillowcase will calm it down.

As for anti-aging, think about it. When you sleep on your side for most of the night (like I do), your face and the skin around your eyes are stretched and pulled in more ways than one, that is, when you sleep on a cotton pillowcase. But with a satin pillowcase, there is hardly any stretching and pulling of any kind because the fabric is so slippery that it will not hold on to your skin. It's a smooth ride all night long...lol...

So, less stretching and pulling = Less fine lines and wrinkles.

My eyes rarely look puffy in the morning too, thanks to my darling satin pillowcases.

If you haven't already got one, you gotta go get it now because I think a satin pillowcase will do what some anti-aging creams and hair treatments with empty promises will never do.

Just make sure the satin is of good quality though. Run a chipped nail or the ridge/teeth of a key on the fabric, if you see a slight tear and if a thread comes loose or gets stuck to your nail, then it's bad quality. Move on... keep looking and scratching =D

I hope you find your perfect satin pillowcase! :)

  1. oh wow. it looks really comfortable and soft. That's the first time I've ever heard of a pillowcase like that. I might probably get it if it isn't too expensive. How much is it?

  6. @AOYV~ Thanks girl...u should

@Rida~ Hi, I'm using a Remington one with teflon plates, which is ok. And a Vidal Sassoon 1 inch atm. I can just advise u 2 get one with ceramic plates. I prefer the thin ones (1 inch)coz I can also flip/curl my hair. But if if have v thick hair then go for a big one. The popular brands aren't easily available in India. Conair does some cute ones...n u might find some in India. N yea Remington too. If u plan 2 order fr outside India then CHI baby! :p

LOL...I bought it about 5 years ago for 2200. Ya the wet to straight one looks nice n it'll be nice to not have to wait for yr hair to dry before ironing. I would get it if I needed one. It's got pretty good reviews too. It costs about $30 right? So decent price I think

  21. I couldn't agree with you more Cynthia. I have been sleeping on satin pillowcases for a few years now and my hair and skin have never felt or looked better. I urge anyone who wants to stop waking up with pillow lines on their face and dried out hair to sleep on satin. You'll be very happy you did and wonder why you waited so long. You can find them online. If you're looking for a great place with great selections go to A Touch of Satin. They have over 20 solid colors to choose from and they are all charmeuse satin.

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
