1 Month Challenge LOTD ~ "Unpredictable"

I'm thinking about doing LOTDs (Look Of The Day) 3 times a week for 1 month, mainly because I want to use a lot of my makeup more often- especially the products I can't wear everyday. Most of the looks are going to be very random, sometimes completely unwearable, but I hope you'll find inspiration in them :)

I said that I'd do a look with Inglot Lipstick #103, so I decided to wear it this time.

Katy Perry's Outfit At MTV VMAs 2011

Bye bye, clutch. Hello, umbrella!

I think the whole ensemble is cute and quirky. I personally would wear the shoes and the umbrella, but not the dress- I just wish it was made differently.

What do you all think? Yay or Nay?

♥ Cynthia Z ^.^

Benefit some kind-a gorgeous ~ Foundation Faker

What it is:
This lightweight, translucent, foundation-like product smoothes out imperfections and evens skin tone with a silky, smooth finish that's super natural and super gorgeous.

Shades ~ Lite, Medium & Deep. I got Medium.

How to apply ~ Apply evenly all over face with accompanying sponge or fingertips. I prefer to apply it with fingers, coz I feel the sponge eats up the product too much.

Packaging is like a record. Very cool! :)

"You Belong To Me"

"You Belong To Me" can sound both psycho and passionate.
  • Psycho - if you're squeezing the person's neck and say it without blinking.
  • Passionate - if you're running your fingers through the person's hair and say it with a smile on your face.

Okay, they both sound psycho. Well, how should I know?! I've done neither. Well....at least not to a living thing.
So, the latest nail trend is colored French tips, which I love love love- mainly coz I'm very lazy about doing my nails & I hate waiting for them to dry.

BB Creams ~ Skin79 BB Cream & Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Cream + Powder

BB Creams- What's the deal?
BB Creams became cult products when Korean actresses and celebs revealed that BB Cream is the "secret of their beauty". They must have undergone laser treatments and had to use BB Cream during the recovery period.

What is BB Cream?
BB Cream, short of Blemish Balm, was initially used by dermatologists on patients who underwent laser treatment. The cream is meant to protect, soothe and refine highly sensitive skin.

I have used 4 BB Creams so far- Skinfood Mushroom BB Cream (talked about it here), Etude House Mineral BB Cream, Skin79 BB Cream, and Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Cream- with a matching Two-Way Cake Powder.

Skin79 Beblesh Balm ~  Doesn't 'Beblesh' sound like a mistake? Like, they meant to say 'Blemish' but didn't know how to pronounce it right or spell it? I mean, a neighbor in my hometown used to pronounce 'Sandwich': 'Swish' =D
This one has amazing skin softening properties. It plumps up my skin- in a good way. Available in 2 types- Pink Label & Gold Label. If you ask me what's the difference between this and the one in a gold bottle, I'd say they are exactly the same. I tested both and they are ditto. I guess Skin79 just wanted to offer a different colored packaging. Hot pink was my first choice, of course, and I love it! Available in only 1 shade, which is not so light. What's best about it is it doesn't dominate my skin, my skin dominates it.

Price ~ Around Rs.1200.

Maybelline Hyper Diamonds ~ Sparkle Your Eyes Like Diamonds!

I'm feeling Maybelline today guys :). I'm not in the mood to write too much, but I hope you enjoy the photos & swatches.

Maybelline Hyper Diamonds ~ Sparkle your eyes like diamonds for a 100% more luminous, open-eyed look!

They look like the new Maybelline Color Explosion Eyeshadows, don't you think?

Hyper Diamonds BR-2 & GY-1

Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Gloss Touch Of Toffee

I'm not a fan of clear lipglosses. If I want clear, I'll pick a lip balm, you know what I mean? Most of my glosses are either pink or peach, and I don't have a nude/flesh-colored lip glosses. Then along came Touch of Toffee, and I was converted. I should let other people pick makeup for me more often :)

I like that it is not the drippy or sticky kind, it's more creamy. Even though it has those shimmery particles, it doesn't feel gritty. I like that it smells like orange juice.
