Mini Vacation Pics & Haul

So last Thursday we'd gone for a mini vacation to Edinburgh, mainly for Mr.CZ's birthday. We stayed there for 3 days, and came back on Sunday. Too short, but we made the most of it, and had fun. 

These are most of the things I hauled:

Benefit Rockateur Blush ~ Rose gold blush. Can't wait to try it on my face. £23.50 | Rs.2362.

Shu Uemura 24K Gold Eyelash Curler (Limited Edition) ~ I wanted to try a new curler. I'd left the original silver one in India, and decided to get this gold one because it looks so beautiful. £20 | Rs.2010.

Soap & Glory Hand Food Mini Hand Cream ~ Wanted to see what the big deal is. I like it so far. £2.50 | Rs.250. 

Balmi Raspberry Lip Balm ~  These used to be round like the eos Lip Balms (pics here), but they changed it to square (I smell a lawsuit =D). £4.99 | Rs.500.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Astringent Lotion ~ Repurchase. It's a toner, and I missed not having it. Post on it here. £8.25 | Rs.828.

Warehouse Coral Pink Clutch Bag ~ On Sale! Got it for £10 | Rs.1004. Original Price: £24 | Rs.2410.

New Look Leather Biker Jacket ~ I'm wearing it in pics below. £39.99 | Rs.4017.

Me: "Look! Look at the shopping bag that guy is carrying. What is it? What brand? What shop?", I said to Mr.CZ quietly. I urged him to look at one of the guys walking in front of us by pointing with my eyes and digging my nails into his hand. I'm kind of shortsighted.

Mr.CZ: "Harvey Nichols. Yup, Harvey Nichols." 

Me: "Aww....so cute! I want." I'd gone to the MAC store at Harvey Nichols the previous day, but I got the MAC bag, of course. I had to get over it.

Later, when the Shu Uemura lady handed me a smaller version of that same exact bag for the eyelash curler, I must have flashed all my teeth at her.

12th, Thursday: Arrived at our apartment- Canon Court, which is about 10 mins walk from Princes Street (the main area). Later, we went to a nightclub called Silk to celebrate Mr.CZ's birthday. I didn't have time to click pics, but I changed and wore the Zara Leather Playsuit.

Kitchen. It had almost everything, except a dishwasher. 

Living room. The most grandma-looking room. We had to take out the 2 extra quilts from the cupboard to use as mattresses to watch a movie because that couch is so small. Look at that awkward white rug.

13th, Friday: Good morning! Can you see Homer Simpson? Next to Bart, but he's covered. Did a little shopping that day & tried street Moroccan food (YUM!) Later, went to watch Insidious: Chapter 2. My rating: 4/5.

14th Saturday: First things I bought on the way to the market. Why are they so irresistible?

I got 4, tasted, and I'm sorry to say that I didn't like them! Especially the green (pistachio), the filling was too greasy. Nothing like the Marks & Spencer ones. But sweet macaron mademoiselle said they're sealed with a kiss - 'Bisous'

So proud of myself because I got this shot at a garden near Harvey Nichols, when I went for the eyelash curler. Fake crocodile, of course.

It was such a lovely sunny weather that day, I wished I carried better (newer) clothes and shoes for a better photo shoot right there. I keep cropping my legs because flat shoes somehow make me position my feet awkwardly- like new style brackets or angles. Also, now I think my right leg is longer than my left leg. I feel it when I walk in flats +  the right joint hurts more at the end of the day =D

15th, Sunday: On the train back to Dundee, we sat in the same coach as a group of friends frenemies. I think 5 guys, 6 girls. Full-on d-r-a-m-a during the whole journey! They were drinking, yelling/fighting, f-wording, one girl kept crying/slurring/wanting to beat up one guy. Another girl spat on one guy's face! :O 

I call these types 'safed kachra'

Phew! It's good to be back home =)
