Revlon Colorburst Lipstick Rosy Nude ~ 'My Lips But Better'?

I mumble "Mmm-hmm, my lips but better" as I applied this lipstick. I was in my element.
Mr.CZ:  "Why do you keep saying those words??? 'My lips but better' "
Me:  "Because they're lipsticks that are almost the same color as my natural lips."
Silence. Some things are to be understood only by us ladies. We hunt for a lipstick that is exactly like our bare lips & a blush that is exactly like our natural...err, flush?
If you're looking for another Nude lippie, then Revlon Rosy Nude 065 Colorburst Lipstick might suit your preference. I personally adore it at the moment. Revlon Colorburst lipsticks need no introduction, as they've been there for a while (they even have babies now). I've always like their finish, color selection, pigmentation, packaging, and the fact that they're fragrance-free.
Rosy Nude is a just that- Rosy Nude. A very wearable shade, which can be played up or down

This is MLBB on me when I dab it lightly (lighter than shown here). For some, it might be 'The One' applied  heavily too.

The only thing I dislike about it: The stick is so soft! It's squished on the sides & it's probably going to break from the base. Imagine how it'd be when it gets hotter!

I still recommend it though. We can always make a Sundae out of it ;)

Price ~ Rs.580? (This was gifted)

My Rating ~ ♥♥♥♥4.5/5

  10. xDDDD I've had a similar conversation with my BF. He likes my natural lip color but doesn't understand the lipsticks in the same shade. I think I just told him it was because we like our natural flushes and blushes but only when WE want them and in the most even and pretty way possible. This shade really is pretty.

  14. Great to see this shade reviewed...Revlon CB Hazelnut and Rosy Nude are shades I'd blindly use anytime. My skin color's several shades darker than your's CZ, but it worked well for me too :)

  16. If you don't want your lipstick to get too soft in the summer, try putting in the refrigerator. The lower temperature, the better. It helps cosmetics to last longer. Chemical reactions occur faster at higher temperatures. Lipsticks are prone to oxidation reactions that can turn certain oils rancid and keeping your sticks in the refrigerator can slow down that process. But, be careful, sometimes there can be beads of sweat on the stick. They are just drops of oil coming to the surface.

    1. Thanks for the explanation. I do keep some in the fridge, but used to wonder why they "sweat" :)

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
