Urban Decay Zero 24/7 Glide-On Pencil 'Vs' Colorbar Blackout I-Glide Pencil


I have always wanted to compare these two eye liner pencils. One is a high street inaccessible brand & the other is an affordable brand in India. But what do they have in common? The word "Glide Hyphen" in their names + they are both black.

So, let's begin.

Rubbing Test- I left the swatches to dry for a few minutes before rubbing them with a finger.....

Blackness ~ As you can see, Blackout is blacker and more pigmented than Zero.

Smoothness ~ Blackout is smoother. In the swatch pic, Blackout is 1 swipe & Zero is 2-3 swipes.

Smudge test ~ Proof above.

Price: 
Urban Decay Zero- $18.00 (approx. Rs.883.00). But I'm sure it's a little more than that in countries outside the US.
Colorbar Blackout- Rs.325.00.

Conclusion:
The pencils should switch names:
  • Urban Decay I-Glide Pencil.
  • Colorbar 24/7 Glide-On Pencil.

    Wow, that Colorbar is brilliant.

    I don't think I've ever bought a black pencil from India that had weak pigmentation. I get my kohl liners from there as they stick around for ages.

    I've been using the colorbar glide pencil in a dark blue shade from the past two years and its brilliant.....its better than the black one and make your eyes pop....

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one.
