New U Haul + FREE Gifts!

I love New U! I want it to get bigger & better, like Watsons, my favorite drugstore. I was shopping there yesterday, and realized that I'm a big fan of QVS. The brand has such cool beauty tools- makeup brushes, sponges and whatnot. I want them all! Especially the sponges, I don't know why!

Here's the stuff I got:

  • Audrey's Wedge Sponges 24 pcs (Rs.95) ~ LOVE! I needed more sponges
  • QVS 2 Facial Cleansing Facial Sponges (Rs.165) ~ I needed (yes, needed) a soft facial sponge to cleanse & scrub my face. Sometimes I need a softer tool than my Body Shop Facial Buffer.

  • QVS Eyelash Curler Spring Action Ergonomic Handles with 2 extra rubber pads (Rs.180)~ I've been using Shu Uemura eyelash curler since forever and I was bored of it, so I thought I'd get a new shiny one. This is good and sturdy. Curls my lashes really well.
  • QVS angled brush (Rs.150) ~ I needed a good angled brush but never found the right one. About 4 times I almost bought The Body Shop Slanted Brush but never did, and I'm glad coz this one looks the same and is cheaper than the TBS brush, which costs Rs.475. 

  • Eva Lush Lips Glitter Lip Balm in Plum Sparkle (Rs.75) ~ How cute is this/!! Available in a lot of colors & non-glittery ones too. 
  • Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry (Rs.129) ~ I LOVE Nivea Fruity Shine Pink Guava & Pomegranate, so I got this too. Hi, my name is Cynthia, and I'm a Lip Balm Addict.

  • Flormar Nail Polish Remover Omega Oil (Rs.125) ~ It's acetone free. Remember I was telling you about nail polish removers in different colored bottles when I first went to New U last year? Well, these are the ones. Flormar has pink, lavender and blue ones too (see HERE)


  • Lakme Sun Expert Cucumber & Lemon Grass Fairness Sunscreen SPF 30 PA+ for Oily Skin (Rs.69) ~  I wanted a tiny sunscreen tube to carry in my handbag and this is the ideal size. I was afraid of the lemon grass in this, coz I don't like lemon grass fragrance very much, but I was pleasantly surprised that it has more of a fresh cucumber fragrance. I love it! New U is currently giving offers, where you get free stuff when you spend a certain amount. This time I got this 4-step Pedicure Paddle...


Last time when I bought (actually my hubby gifted me ;)) all the Lip Ice lip balms, I got this red wallet, which I'll probably gift to someone else...

    hey dats a fab haul..n d freebies too...!!
    I saw d Eva lip balm...but I thot its gonna last forever plus it was to be used wit fingers..so I dint get it..

    I love New U..i got the qvs curler but the one which is all black..that didnt do that much for me so was going to try this one....
    The new U place in ambi gurgaon is like me second home im there so often..but my fav new u is in promenade/ dt city centre...
    Btw, any plans of having a blog sale,..since none of my packages r arriving, in case u r planning to sell nyx eyeshadows then let me know plssss

    wowwwiiieee even me luvve sponges... specially wen ive to apply foundation achhe se and in less time.. and I liked the pink clutch as well.. If I were in India wudve bought it from u :D

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible!
