5 Holy Grail Tools For Facial Hair

These 5 tools will tackle all your facial hair issues in minutes:
Eyebrow Shaver ~ This has saved me from going out with bad brows many a times. Say, you have to go to an impromptu party and your eyebrows are 'argh!', and you know last minute tweezing them will only lead to redness (and swelling if you have thick hair), an eyebrow shaver is your go-to tool. You have to have this. This one I have is by a brand called Lesasha, which I got from Bangkok many years ago, but still does its job well until now.

Rounded tip Scissors ~ How many of you poke your forehead while trimming your brows with those ordinary pointy scissors? This will prevent such mishaps. Can be used for trimming nose hair too.

Tweezers ~ If you don't have tweezers, you belong in a cave ;p. Brows, upper lips, peeling dry/flaky skin...well, they're just the best!

Wax Strips ~ For waxing upper lips. Just cut them into 1/1 inch squares so you can wax every inch of your upper lips.

This next one is a necessary tool for me. What about you?

Nose Hair Trimmer ~ I click a lot of pictures of myself (what a narc! =D), and in some pics, my nostrils look like a jungle! Especially since I take Biotin tablets (to make my hair longer and thicker). I'm telling you, trimming your nose hair is necessary girls + less itching and sneezing =D. Once I used wax strips to remove nose hair and I ended up with a whole lot of butter paper cuts around my nose. BAD idea! haha...
This is a men's Philips Shaver, which has many attachments like hair trimmers and stuff. I don't have to tell you whose it is :)

  5. For me its a thread!! I thread my upper lips on my own!! I have bad upper lips here, well they are not dark, but they are fine and numerous. Of course, waxing is great too. I was talking to a friend and she said that she is too much of a wimp to wax/thread her upper lip on her own. I was like whattt? get over it! lol.

I get really bad chin here too, and I am 23...I dont know where they came from? May be its hormonal, but i am not very hairy, in general so they piss me off. I carry thread everywhere when I am travelling. Thread is a life saver for me. Its cheap, not messy and you can't be allergic to therad! yay!

The only problem for me is eyebrows. Its so hard to find good eyebrow threaders here in my city..so my brows always look retarded!

  9. You are using Biotin tablets asking the doc first? or do you not need to ask the doc? And If you use those kinds of hair growth tablets will it effect the whole body hair growth like arm pits, nose, bikini and arms legs?

  10. Nice round up Cynthia..Have been intending to get the eyebrow trimmer for a while now. Saw both the normal one as well as the battery run kind..any suggestion which would be better...

  11. I could probably benefit from that eyebrow shaver (mine looks like crazy spider legs a lot of the time...lol!) but I know my klutzy nature tells me otherwise. I may just end up with no brows! XP

  12. I tried this once! With Veet wax strips only. Applied the strip and pulled it off. But the wax was sticked so badly that later i had to do so many remedies to get that wax removed from my upperlips.

  22. Hi Cynthia , am new to your blog and am loving all the posts, really love your make up particularly the halloween one....in the products in this post the eyebrow trimmer, would it help in removing the hair on the upper lip as well cos i have very sensitive skin and cannot use epilatory creams

  23. Hi Amritha, thank u so much! The trimmer/shaver could make u have more upper lip hair with frequent usage...n also ingrown hair coz it's like shaving. Maybe u should tweeze instead? It's easier n less painful after a shower. Other times u can apply ice cold aloe vera gel before n after tweezing.

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
