Loving ~ L'OREAL Hairmix Supreme Smooth For Dry Hair (Review)

L'OREAL Hairmix range is especially formulated for thick, dry and rebellious hair, which most Indians are born with. Formulated with natural ingredients and essential oils to nourish and smoothen thirsty, rebellious and thick hair, Hairmix will leave your hair smooth, silky, defined and control.

What it is:
Nutri-smoothing cream for dry hair. Adds moisture, tames and smoothes the hair, whilst controlling the frizz. Protects hair against damage from heated styling tools.

How To Use:
Apply evenly section by section to shampooed and towel dried hair. For smooth results, blow-dry the hair straight.

Review:

Been using this a while now and I'm so glad I bought it. It is like a drink of water for my dry hair, which no longer looks dry. One of my best buys in the month of April. It doesn't flatten my hair, or make it greasy even when I shampoo every 2-3 days. I've used it before flat ironing and it does gives my hair a smoother finish. It smells like something that should come in a dessert bowl too! Love!
Most times, I would use it right after towel drying my hair, like I would a leave-in conditioner, and let my hair dry naturally. I'm trying to save heated styling tools only for days when I truly need them. Sometimes I apply it when my hair isn't wet and  it still won't make my hair look greasy. It would just tame the frizz and make my hair easier to comb through.
The bronze sturdy packaging is also something I can't find fault with. Quite heavy though. But it is filled with the cream, not like a packet of chips which is all air!

Priced at Rs.600, I think it is worth it. Hey! 'Because you're worth it' =)

  18. I have very long, straight, fairly thick hair. It's naturally light brown, but I've been highlighting it heavily for years, and the ends have recently become extremely dry and difficult to manage. The underneath part that lies against the back of my neck is especially difficult and, after combing, retangles itself within minutes.

I was beginning to think I'd have to cut the bottom 6 or 7 inches off and start over, but my colorist (who, by the way, works in a salon that doesn't carry Shielo, so I figure she's being objective) recommended the Shielo Hydrate line (both Shampoo and Conditioner). I figured it was worth a shot, even though the combined cost of the retail sized shampoo and conditioner is about $47.

My hair definitely appears MUCH smoother, even when air-dried. (However, I've noticed that continued use is necessary, because when I use anything else my hair doesn't look nearly as good.) I leave the Shielo Hydrate conditioner in for 5 minutes as the label directs; thoroughly combing it through in the meantime seems to give the best results. With both the Shielo Hydrate shampoo and the conditioner, a little product goes a long way (in contrast to cheaper drugstore products).

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
