Vaseline Pink Bubbly Limited Edition Lip Therapy Review & Giveaway

Every year Vaseline launches a Limited Edition lip balm. Last year it was Crème Brûlée, this year it's this one right here- Pink Bubbly. How cute is that name?! I adore the packaging too, very lingerie.
Before this was officially launched, Vaseline held a contest. They sent this tin, but with a plain unbranded lid, to selected UK beauty bloggers, asking them to design the lid & guess the name of the next Limited Edition Lip Therapy. What's most interesting was, they also sent them a few things as clues:
  • A balloon
  • A scented candle
  • Pink Champagne Truffles in a heart-shaped box
  • A champagne flute
  • Etc.
The Winner + 1 winner's blog reader win a trip to Paris!
So cool, right? I would have loved to design that tin, and I wouldn't have done it for Paris =)
About: Luxury living is all the rage, but this time it’s all about letting your lips enjoy a champagne lifestyle. By popular demand, cult beauty brand Vaseline Lip Therapy has created an exciting and decadent new limited edition flavour, Pink Bubbly. Vaseline Pink Bubbly has a gorgeous rosé hue. Enriched with champagne grape extract, this luxurious jelly will intensively moisturise and smooth, creating a perfectly kissable pout. Simply glide on over your favourite colour to give lips A-list colour that shimmers, or use over bare lips for a more natural demure look.
Pink Bubbly is a very pale salmon pink color. It is very moisturizing & has a wet glossy feel. It has a mild rose scent mingled with something fresh & fizzy giving it an almost fruity scent. I just love how it smells! I wouldn't mind a perfume like it. Plus, it looks good enough to eat!
The next photos made Mr.CZ go "Why did you spoil it?!"........

Oh, but I didn't stop there..... but first, the swatch on my lips.....

Price ~ £1.50 (Rs.127) from Asda. Sefridges, Superdrug & Boots sell them for £3.49 (Rs.295)
My Rating ~ ♥♥♥♥♥ 5/5
Yeah, I totally whipped it! I just couldn't stop myself!
Btw, I'm giving away one Pink Bubbly to a very brave & romantic person in my Facebook Page! Tag & say 'I Love You' to the person you have never said it to.
Please go here if you'd like to WIN it.
Good luck! =)

  8. You had me at pink bubbly! And the way you've explained the scent, I'm sure I wouldn't mind a perfume with that scent. This kinda looks like a solid perfume with the simple yet classy tin packaging. Wouldn't be available in our Bharat, I believe?
And I can totally understand how any man wouldn't have understood why you did what you did to the product, looks totally cute though.

    1. Haha....oh, no worries! Mammoth is good. Nah...unfortunately, not available in our Bharat. I don't understand why they don't launch them there though, coz there's clearly a big market for them, no? Useable...affordable...

They're not made to truly understand the little quirky things we women "have" to do ;) Thanks!

    2. vaseline has never launched their flat tin balms in India - bad vaseline! There is also a creme brule and the classic orange one (not sure of the exact names) which was never launched in India

I saw the post of tin designing by UK bloggers and thought of getting it by ebay but never got anything from ebay UK sellers :( Let me know if u know anyone.

  10. Hey Cynthia,

Have been following your blog for a while now. Very helpful indeed! I am not sure if you have done a post/tutorial on the various applications brushes (for eyeshadows, blush etc..)?? I may have missed it if its already done. I really want to know the usage and application of the commonly used brushes.

    Thanks,
    Niyati

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
