Before we say goodbye to May, my favorite month, here are all the things I have been loving. Some everyday necessities, and some very random things:
Vaseline Aloe Fresh Body Lotion: My current summer body lotion. It doesn't feel too creamy or leave any greasy residue, so it's perfect for this unbearably hot Delhi climate. I keep it in the fridge & only take it out to apply it after my showers. Love the coolness Price- Rs.149. It is sold with a mini Aloe Vaseline Jelly.
Dabur Gulabari Rose Water: I feel my skin needs a toner these days, and this is all I have atm. I keep this in the fridge at all times, and when I use it, it's so refreshing! I like the shape of the bottle too. Price- Rs.62 for 200 ml.
Pond's Magic Freshness Talc with Acacia Honey: The heat makes it impossible to live without body powder! I love the fragrance of this one a lot & use it religiously. Price- Rs.42 for 100 g
Flormar Orchid Complex Nail Polish Remover: It's pink & smells like bubblegum. Cute pink packaging & it removes glitter polishes pretty well. Price- Rs.125.
Dove Hair Fall Therapy Combing Serum: Mr.CZ saw this at a supermarket & got it for me coz it's pink =). I use it a lot nowadays & I must say, I quite like it. It does help my comb run smoothly, No Friction- like it claims. Price- Rs.250
MAC Viva Glam V Lipstick: Another nice nude lippie I'd been wearing almost everyday. I will swatch & do a look with this one of these days. I've got 3 other MAC lippies to swatch & review, sigh....I'm way behind!
Rimmel Extreme Definition Two-Tone Eye Definer: Though I've had this for a long time, I find myself reaching for it a lot these days. I use only the black, and it is one of the best intense black kohl pencils I've ever used. Price- ??
Glitter top coat. I'm obsessed with them. This is Lakme Fast & Fabulous Popping Pink with the silver glitter top coat shown here
MANGO: I shopped mostly from Mango in May, so it should be here =)
Extremely hot & spicy chips: By Ananda Bhavan- a South Indian restaurant, I think. If you want the chips that'll make you cry, these are it. Very addictive! Price- Rs75 for 250 gm.
TV Show: Game Of Thrones. Hooked to it.
I think that's the cutest logo ever! There on the right side bar, you'll see my Instagram feed. You can check out my random photos there. On days when I don't blog, I'll try to post there.

Putting the lotion in the fridge - wonderful tip for the summer!!! I also liked the Dove serum, mine is about to finish :-). I've been wanting to try the Fabindia rose water for a while; but looks like the Dabur one is also a good alternative.
ReplyDeleteI might be interested in the Fabindia one myself :D
DeleteI love the vaseline lotion too! But I find the one you get in India is so watered down and horrid compared to the ones you get abroad.
ReplyDeleteI have started using FabIndia's facial sprays and like them - perfect to use in the hot weather (not sure if you can use them with make up on!)
I think you should add a bright orange-red lipstick to go with the nailpolish :)
And if you like ananda bhavan chips - ever tired their murukkus/chaklis?
Yes, I wear orange lippies a lot these days. No I haven't tried them! U got me interested in them now :D

The chips look so tempting and yummy! Since you have spoken of your must haves and summers, I would also like to share mine. The must haves for me is body lotion, kajal and a good sunscreen. In body lotions, I have been using Parachute advansed body lotion summer fresh and Lakme kajal. When I saw the ingredients in the pack of the body lotion, I was thrilled. It has mint and coconut milk in it which acts as an anti-tan agent. So I have a two-in-one product.
