You Thought The HAUL Was It?


I have a thing for tiny soaps & tiny bottles, which is why I like collecting hotel toiletries. Every time. They need their own cabinet =D

1st day at a hotel:

Hubby ~ Aren't you going to steal any hotel stuff this time?

Me ~ Uhm...yeah! (incredulously)



Later:

Hubby ~ Do you need the combs & the toothbrushes too???! And the sewing kit???
Me ~ Uhm....YES! (defensively)



Much later:

Hubby ~ Really, honey, enough stealing now! 
Me ~ I know, I know (sheepishly)



Last day of vacay:

Hubby ~ Tch! The bag is so full now. We might have to leave your hotel stuff (insensitively)
Me ~ 😱😞😟

What I do with the stuff?
I use some, like shower caps, when I'm deep conditioning my hair. Who likes to shop for shower caps, anyway?!

Bath products and others ~ For guests :) (we have them, like, every 3-4 years haha)


How they saved the day:
I was wearing this strapless romper in Singapore, but it was so loose at the bust it kept falling. I didn't have any safety pins, I never do. What do I do?!! Then my hubby reminded me that we may have some in the sewing kit we took from the previous hotel. Voila! There was two of them! Two! For each side. See?! :)

Hey, don't judge me! Chandler Bing & Ross Geller do it too! ;)

    me does it too.... and my poor hubby dilligently carries stuff back from his trips... these crabtree and evelyn babies are awesome... i love the moisturiser.... thats what i am using these days.. :)

    I love'em too!! :D even if I don't use them with passion later..I just like to have them..
    Few days ago my fiance came back from his business trip to Portugal and brought one set of those little beauties. I looked at him and said "whaaat??!! Only ONE?? U were there 4 days and you bring me one?!!" I was so ashamed later but that was my genuine reaction :D:D

    I don't judge you. I do the same... not in this measure, though. But still :). Shower caps are always useful... I wear them when I shower or have a bath all the time, because it's so annoying when water gets on my hair when I didn't plan to wash it :D. Also, the little soaps... they are so cute, and I alwas bring one or two with myself when travelling... well, to be honest, I carry around one of them in my purse all the time, you never know when you need one (public toilets with no soap etc. etc. etc.)...

    hehehe you're so funny! I would love to do this but I get highly embarrassed to take things which I am actually entitled to take away and have paid for lol.

    I had a think for miniature toiletry while I was little. I used to collect it for nothing!

    Everyone does it...Some admit and some don't, thatz the difference :) And this is NOT stealing - The room fee includes all these and MORE. So don't be shy in taking these! If the suitcase plops open in front of the frontdesk or manager and all the loot spills out, they may smile and make you feel awkward - but know they do the same when "they" travel :)
    In one hotel I went to, they provided a luxurious bathrobe but it mentioned that if the bathrobe is taken, they would charge $100. Now, don't take THAT! :)

    hahaha I was just telling my hubby about that Friends episode a couple weeks ago when we went for a weekend getaway and I wanted more of the lotion because it smelled so good! I totally do the same thing and it's nice to know we aren't the only ones!

    wow...I do it everytime!!! I did get crabtree and evelyn conditioner and something else but I didn't like it as much as I had expected too :( but I love to collect stuff from the hotels :D it is equivalent to some therapy!!!

    There's nothing wrong in this - after all, Roger Federer snitches the tournament towels too ;) Apparently they're a rarity, as they have the tournament's name printed on, and each player gets to use (and if sneaky, snitch) only two per game. He admitted to it, saying most players do ;) if its good enough for them, its good enough for us!

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible!
