The brush is big, which has it's pros and cons- coats lashes evenly & quickly, but smudge easily. The mascara formula is just right- not too wet, just the way I like it. I thought the formula was going to be gel-like and would only moisten the lashes, but I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of volume it gave my lashes.
I haven't noticed any change in the length & size of my lashes, obviously, since I've only been using it for about a week. But as a mascara, I'm loving it. I'll let these Before & After pics speak for themselves:

ReplyDeletefirst of all I wanted to say that I'm an avid reader of your blog and u really inspire me to "think out of the box" makeup-wise. The colours you use are quite original but not in a "in your face way" and I really like that =) you always come up with something new when I least expect it (like the green eyeshadow)the colours that you choose, I must admit that I usually run from them but now I try to use littles touches here and there and it does make a difference and the best part is that people actually notice! how awesome is that?! so thanks =) Now about the grow luscious, I have it in darkest brown shade and I really like it a lot but it's a 3/5 for me because it dried up real fast so now I have to heat it a bit before using (I just use my hair drier or dip it in warm water for a few seconds) and also because the brush is quite big, or maybe my lashes are too short, but otherwise I'd say that it's a really good mascara, I haven't noticed a great change in lenght (after 3 months of daily use)but my lashes are definitely thicker and they don't fall out like they did before. I even found myself rubbing my eyelids once while removing my makeup because I thought the mascara was still there but it was actually my lashes, thick as ever. I was quite surpried because I thought that like other mascaras that promise the moon and the sky this one wouldn't deliver but it does, and even though it is a bit dry, I still use it everyday. also another plus point is that even after a long day of work it doesn't smudge, even on the lower lashes. so enjoy it, I think you will love it. and ahve a nice day =) u just made mine a bit better ^_^

Rajeshwari- The shot is taken so close that every lash is magnified, that's why it looks like it's clumpy + my lashes are so thin & no liner so, obviously, they don't look so neat.

ReplyDeleteWOW....After seeing u'r pic and reading abt what 'anonymous' :) have to say ,I would deff. try this one out...Btw Cynthia I really need u'r opinion abt coastal scent makeup palettes.I have got my eye on 56 shadow blush pallette but worried abt its quality.I follow u'r blog...and I have seen that u use only costal scent brushes...any reason in particular?!!Would be great if u can help me out here...after all u'r my makeup guru :)
