Kiko Milano Creamy Colour Comfort Lip Liner 303 Tea Rose

When my previous laptop just died, one of the things I regretted not doing was not posting the photos & swatches I had uploaded to it. They were just GONE. There were a lot of makeup pictures, because I always click before using any new makeup product.
So now, I'm gonna post whatever I click, so they don't just sit there in my computer & just disappear one day.

And so begins my journey of collecting classicantique & collectible edition books.....

If It Isn't Pastel, I Don't Want It.....

For my nails, it's either only pastels, sometimes black, or frequently french.

My toenails are done in 5 different pastel shades, most of the time.

Here are 5 new shades I picked up recently.
I kinda had to go out & buy them, because most of my favourite nail paints have started
drying up & bubbling.

All from Colorbar again, of course.

*My ring fingernail broke some time back, btw.

Always Heart Plaid | Midnights with CZ - V

Are you ready for Christmas?

I'm not.
Which is why the Christmas tree ornaments were tossed to the side, and didn't make it to these pictures.
But my brand new plaid leggings & some old lost & found necklaces did. They're unplanned pics, so please excuse the same uninteresting flat lay. I'll get creative when the mood strikes & my space is not so occupied.*

On another note, how effing cold did it get suddenly?! 😰
I'm typing this with a faux sherpa robe covering my legs, because the room has no power line to plug in a heater (I'm sitting on a chair). Our house's plug points are all in odd places, by the way.
There's no reason for me to mention something so boring, but it's annoying that all our plug points have furniture in front of them. I've also come to realize I no longer need so much furniture in my life*, not my closet, not my vanity table, not even my bed - I will sleep on the the floor!

I'm posting this now, instead of Friday midnight, just because.....

Yes, this bear sleeps with me too.

What The Tooth Fairy Left Behind......

"The Tooth Fairy hasn't come till now.",
Zii said sadly as he got out of bed, about 5 days after he lost his first tooth.

"Oh!!!.....", I exclaimed,
".....I think it's because she's very very busy. She's probably visiting a lot of kids,
because all of them are staying home nowadays & eating more candies....
She's like Santa, you know."
I said with certainty.

"Hmmm.", he replied morosely.

The Next Day:

I peeped from under my quilt as he woke up. He got up, put on his slippers sleepily,
and started walking to the door. He didn't look around around his bed, like he usually does.

"Huggy!", I said to him quickly.

He came over to hug me, and that's when I noticed something on the floor!

"What's that?", I asked with a perplexed face.

"What?", he mumbled with disinterest.

"Behind you, on the floor.....", he turned around.

You & Me..... | Midnights with CZ- IV

"It was too enviable.
You & Me.
Chemistry like Caesium & Water.
They devoured the dirt,
like devilish gluttons
with a heavenly soufflé."

Shopping From The Kids' Section | Midnights with CZ Part-III

I'm not ashamed to say I frequent the kids' section of every brand.
I've bought t-shirts, dungarees, coats, jackets.....socks, gloves, snoods.....
I even checked out some Indian wear recently, before Diwali, and the salesman
was like: "Itni fitting nahi hoti aapke liye." (or something like that).
Of course not, I said to him. It was a 10-12 Yrs size, and I need a 12-14 Yrs
Woh fitting acchi ayegi.
The look he gave me. He'll never understand.

If you're a little petite woman, and sometimes a UK 6 just doesn't cut it, or a fitted jacket is never truly fitted on you & ankle pants need to be chopped off at least 2 inches, you'll understand.

Here are a few of the things I managed to click pictures of - in August! That's when I was gonna put this post up......

Midnights with CZ | Part - 2

Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali !

Midnights with CZ | Part-1

My alarm went off, and jerked me out of one of the best sleeps I’ve ever had.

The sleep I was supposed to be having at normal sleeping hours, the sleep

that usually plays hard-to-get, until my 'If I fall asleep now, I'll get this much sleep....'

plummets from hours to mere minutes.

I peeled the duvet off myself, rolled like a wingless bird to the edge of the bed to grab my laptop that's (over)charged on the floor. This part is when I always imagine it slipping from my hand & crashing on the floor, because why not, I kinda deserve to be punished for precariously picking a Macbook like a handkerchief.

In a manner that had become second nature, I opened Zoom, typed the ID & password,

clipped a plain sheet of paper on the clipboard.

Btw, now I cut an A4 sheet into half, like a proper kanjoos.

But it's not about kanjoosness.

Who else has been using & wasting so much paper during this pandemic,

you think you should go feed a tree?

Pencil? Sharpened quickly on the bathroom counter.

Eraser? Couldn't give a fudge about how black & dirty it was. It should clean itself.

Water Bottle? I ran to the bedroom to fetch it.

My other alarm went off - means 2 minutes before the class starts.

I called out to my kid, who’s downstairs finishing up with brushing his

teeth & washing his face. I heard him rush upstairs, like a good boy.

"Coming!", he called out excitedly.

He propped himself on the chair in front of the laptop.

I told him NOT to sit with his legs wide apart. Bad Manners!

Ready.

I clicked 'Join'.

10 Favourite Things.....

Got this flat lay to a C- (satisfactory minus) after 45 clicks & just when the camera battery was running out, by the way.

If you see what's bothering me about the arrangement now that I'm viewing it on a bigger screen, then you've also concluded that it's a murder, not a suicide. Wait, don't ask me to elaborate on that yet. I'm doing my own CBI investigation based on the countless & rather contradicting "Breaking News" on my Instagram explore.

I suddenly came up with this post, even though I have a number of long overdue ones in my drafts:

My 10 Favourite Things right now.....
