The Skincare Ingredient That Works Like A Charm

Have you ever used something, and thought, 'Where have you been all my life?!'

You use it on a recurrent skin problem - you'd even rubbed your own tears on this problem (just to see) -  and it's the ONLY product that showed immediate results?

C I C A

Real Name: Centella Asiatica
Nickname: Cica

It is also called Tiger Grass, because tigers roll their bodies on it when they're wounded (Don't you just LOVE information about the wilderness like this?) How do the tigers know this, is what I'm wondering.

Cica is dominating most of Korean skincare's Ingredients decks lately. The brand, Some By MI, has launched a serum made with Snail Mucin & Cica, and I can't wait to try that out!

I'm now using the Innisfree Bija Cica Balm, which has proven to me that it does work like a charm.

What It Does:
This balm protects skin against external irritants while helping relieve irritated skin. That's what Innisfree says.

Full Ingredients List Of Innisfree Bija Cica Balm:

WATER, PROPANEDIOL, GLYCERIN, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, SQUALANE, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, MADECASSOSIDE, MADECASSIC ACID, ASIATICOSIDE, ASIATIC ACID, TORREYA NUCIFERA SEED OIL, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, ORCHID EXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT, CAMELLIA JAPONICA LEAF EXTRACT, CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, PANTHENOL, C12-16 ALCOHOLS, DIISOSTEARYL MALATE, CETEARYL GLUCOSIDE, PALMITIC ACID, HYDROGENATED LECITHIN, POLYSORBATE 60, ACRYLATES/C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER, HYDROXYETHYL ACRYLATE/SODIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYL TAURATE COPOLYMER, TROMETHAMINE, DISODIUM EDTA, 1,2-HEXANEDIOL

What it doesn't have:
6-Free system: paraben-free, animal ingredient-free, mineral oil-free, synthetic coloring-free, artificial fragrance-free, imidazolidinyl urea-free.

Price: Rs.1530/ 40 ml.

What it's good for:

1. Contact Dermatitis/Nickel Allergy ~ My ears are always inflamed because of all the earrings I wear. I've used Fucibet, Aloe Vera Gel, Boroline, my own tears again....and though they give some relief, they don't really heal. I used this balm, and my ears haven't itched or swelled up since.
Even real gold earrings are no good for me, btw. My skin rejects all kinds of jewelry. NOW I WILL SHOW IT!!!

2. Razor/Waxing/Tweezing Bumps ~ That lotion meant to treat sensitive skin & ingrown hair, Tend Skin, has been on my 'to-try list' for over 10 years, but it was always out of reach. Now that I've discovered Cica, I am actually looking forward to my next very painful waxing sesh, if you know what I mean. This is actually what I got this balm for, and BINGO.

3. Surgical Scars ~  From what I've witnessed so far, I'm pretty sure this will work like magic on fresh scars.

4. Pimples? I used it on a minor pimple-like bump one night, and it was gone the next morning.

5. Wrinkles? Since it protects the skin from external damage, I guess it would make it more resilient & prevent sagging. That is all I can say from what I've read up.

Don't ask me what that swatch/ART is

So, if you have: acne, easily-irritated skin, eczema, etc..... you know what to look for.

Girls, boys..... it will come in handy for something.

This is one product I know I'll need my entire life.

I'm probably gonna get it in all forms -
Face Wash
FTE (First Treatment Essence)
Serum
Body Wash,
Body Lotion,
Face Mist
Heart & Soul Cica Balm, if available.
Etc.

Bye Bye,
Cica  See ya!

I ♥ finding little notes in my Vanity Case, so do drop one. I read all of them & I try my best to reply to each & every one of them [check back in 2-3 days =D] but most times it's physically impossible! Either way, I love to hear from you & really appreciate you taking the time out to share your thoughts <3

Thank you for reading! :)
